Mione's POV

When I picture three people hanging out and having fun, I picture them relaxing by the lake, or playing around in the room of requirement. But no, I had to hang out with Draco Malfoy, who just couldn't follow the rules. According to him, in order to have fun we had to sneak through the corridors, out the main doors, and pop into hogsmeade! Which is breaking school rules! "I swear we could be playing a board game or something at the moment. But no. We had to do what you wanted to do." Draco laughed as he walked along with Ginny holding her hand. "What's a board game? Something you must play a lot. Because you seem to do a ton of 'boring' things." He said with a smirked and I sped up to catch up with him. "Haha. Very funny. Yet, you are wrong. A board game isn't boring at all. It's a muggle game that you do with friends for FUN!" He scoffed. "This is much more exciting then sitting around with you and playing a game." I rolled my eyes and had to lightly jog to keep up. He turned to look at me. "You aren't used to running are you?" I raised my eye brows as we jogged lightly through the streets of hogsmeade. "And what's that supposed to mean?!" He smirked, once again while Ginny lightly laughed as she was still just walking fast beside us. "I mean, that you've never done any physical activity. Since you were ten." He said with a smug grin. I felt my breathing hitch as we continued, but I continued anyway. "Just because I didn't do Quidditch doesn't mean I'm out of shape!" He rolled his eyes but Ginny budded in. "Fine then, if you're so sure, then let's have a contest. The last person to get to the hogshead loses. It's about a mile and a half away." She looked at me as we came to a stop. I was debating my options. If I refused then I'd look like I was lying, which I'm not...not exactly anyways, but if I agree. I'll surely be last, and would feel like I was dying. So, I said the first thing that popped into my head. "We're not dressed for this." I mentally stepped on myself. Draco raised his brow. "Your right, so it'll be easier for us. We usually do twice this with Quidditch gear on. While your sitting over here remembering when you used to play tag. I rolled my eyes, exasperated. "I tracked down horcruxes! It's difficult. More difficult than Quidditch anyways!" The couple scoffed as one and looked at each other. "No way." They said in unison, then the grimaced, realizing how creepy that had sounded. "So you're backing out, am I correct?" Draco stepped closer, slightly intimating me. Ginny shoved him, making him unbalanced. "Oh shove off, you're not having some glorious stand with Harry. This is a mile and a half race with your girlfriend who's faster by definition and Hermione. Chill out." Draco looked her up in down, his eyes lingering on her lips, I realized how badly he wanted to kiss her. She seemed to shake under his gaze. "Not a chance Weasley. Not possibly faster." He said, staring intently into her eyes. A grin tugged on her face. "Mhmm, say that to my ass, because it's all you'll be seeing of me." She fully grinned and Draco's hands twitched. He really wanted to kiss her. I found myself smiling at the thought. I then grimaced, I'd never thought that way before. Draco still didn't drop his gaze. "Maybe if you're lucky." He said back moving forward. Ginny smirked. "Yeah, you'll most likely get stuck staring at Hermione's." I blushed at the comment, but that just made Draco close the space between them. He took her arms and gently guided them to his neck, before slowly kissing her lightly on the lips. I found myself majorly blushing, feeling like I was intruding on their moment, but I didn't stop them. The kissed another ten seconds before pulling away and laughing quietly to themselves and turning to me, Ginny blushed and Draco looked guilty. I raised an eyebrow. Draco stared me down before speaking. "You don't seem upset." I laughed, "it's because I'm not, Draco, treat her well, and I'll be fine." He gave me a small real smile. "So, let's race." Ginny cut in and Draco smirked again. "Ok Weasley, but I'm not going easy on you, just remember that when you see me arrive at the door a distance away." She gamely nodded. "I appreciate you telling me." I scoffed and turned towards the busy lane in hogsmeade. Draco started to count down. "Three, two...," Ginny interrupted him by shouting, "go!" We took off, and for the first mile we just all stuck together, but as it wired down. Ginny and Draco started to gain, while I was wheezing. Draco, having a longer stride and all was in the lead. I stopped completely, and climbed a stair lift so I could see over the crowd. Ginny apparently was still just jogging. She sped up with only a twelfth to go, and sprinted right past Draco and tapped to hogshead sign. I cheered and they looked up panting. They both rolled their eyes, but Draco still pulled Ginny into a reluctant hug and kissed her head, saying something to her quietly. She smiled, and caught my eye before lowering her gaze back to Draco. I clambered down from the ladder and jobbed over their to them. They were both just lightly panting, while I was trying to learn how to swallow again. They both seemed to notice my struggle, but they never mentioned it, which I was thankful for. We then turned around and walked a few stores down until we entered the main road of hogsmeade.
