Ginny's POV
"I agree, it's Draco's turn to pick." I said as we strolled down hogsmeade waiting for Draco to come back from the loo. "What are you going to do for him?" Mione asked me suddenly. "Do for him when?" I asked confused. "Valentine's Day is in three weeks for gods sake! Don't tell me you forgot." I swallowed. Damnit, I had forgotten all about it. "I'll do something light, the thing about Draco is, he doesn't go over the top, besides with sex and kissing. He likes to play it low. Which is good since I wasn't thinking about it too intently." Hermione rolled her eyes. "Don't be shallow. He can do whatever he pleases. And he might just surprise you. Now, to the matter at hand. You need to get Draco a present of a well thought out thank you. Or a sex ticket. Either way, you have to do something." I scrunched my eyes closed. "Ew no, stop with the disturbing images." I sighed and sat down, now really deep in thought about the whole gift thing. Had he gotten me something? Was he expecting something extraordinary? I groaned as I thought more about it. "He is doing something for you, but I'm not telling what." Hermione said as she smiled at me. My heart fluttered. "I-I'll get him something decent." I said and then several ideas popped into my head. "I'll do it right now. Make up something for me when he gets back." I said already jogging off.
Draco's POV
I walked out of the men's room and found Hermione standing, waiting for me, alone. I scrunched my eye brows together as I neared her. "Where's Gin?" She jumped as she spun around to see me. She looked flustered, but straightened. "Never mind where she is. You sir, have a lot to tell me. So spill." I was literally bewildered. "I want to know where my girlfriend is." I insisted not wanting to endure Hermione's strange wrath any longer. "No. I'm not telling. Now, you're going to tell me all about your date you planned out with Ginny, and how it's going to go." I sighed in relief as I realized I wasn't actually in trouble. "It'll be glorious. It's going to be romantic. But not over the top. I'll take her to the forbidden forest. She'll love it." Hermione choked and looked up at me. "Are you trying to kill my best friend?!" She exclaimed loudly. I laughed and smirked at her. "No, I'm not in fact, going to kill her. You are literally the only student to remain that hates breaking rules. Everyone else does it. She won't mind. Especially if it's with me." She rolled her eyes. "You're so full of yourself, I don't understand how she stands you. I certainly can't." I smirked and wrapped my arms around her. Her breathing hitched and she blushed. "Uh huh, I bet you utterly hate me, am I correct?" I said before letting go of her and laughing louding. She groaned and slapped my shoulder. "Better be careful Draco, you wouldn't want to get punched in the other side of your face, especially when your this much taller. It would be TRUELY sad." She grinned and skilled away. Beckoning me to follow. "Where's Ginny? I answered all your stupid questions. Can I have her back now?" Hermione softly smiled before replying. "She'll be back shortly. I honestly don't know exactly where she is." I rolled my eyes before asking, "why do you keep smiling. Every Time I mention Ginny, you smile to yourself." She laughed quietly. "I think you are simply adorable when you talk about her. You always put her in a good light? And talk about her in the highest respect, but you never feel shame in cracking a joke too. You immediately apologize afterwards though." I laughed as we walked and she described Ginny Weasley. "You simply do love her. You can't express yourself enough through words. And your body betrays you as well. All that shuffling and blushing and the mention at sex. You replay different memories in your mind when I mention her. Like the black lake Over Christmas break, or the kitchen when you finally gained respect for the elves. Every little detail that seems stupid or unimportant at the time, can hold the most descriptive thoughts." Hermione was looking warmly into my eyes as she spoke. I was heating up as I thought about cuddling in bed,
Naked. And when I threw mashed potatoes at her with the elves all watching. I smiled slightly as I pictured her expression. "You should smile more often." She commented suddenly as we pushed past crowds. "I have been told that several times." I said thinking about Luna's, Ginny's, and even Potter's recommendations. "Then take it as a sign to do so." She said a-matter-of-factly. "When's Ginny getting back?" I whined and tugged on her arm. She scoffed. "I don't know! Act your age, and just worry about hanging out with me, who is with you at the moment. Let's go...and look for candy. No Quidditch. If Ginny's not hear then obviously no." She said before dragging me with her and me whining about pulling my hand.Did you like it? Comment and vote and follow but please keep reading:)
