Ginny's POV
FlashbackI dragged my feet, weighed down by sleepless nights with Harry. He was getting slightly annoying with his pleas for me to be with him. I sighed as descended the staircase. Then suddenly, I tripped, sending all of my books flying landing on different levels of the stairs. I groaned as a tear of frustration rolled down my hot cheeks as people snickered and walked past. I hated today, I was pissed at Harry...I mouthed a cursed while bending down to pick up the books. I had picked up about half the books when someone nudged my shoulder, and beautiful blonde smiled slightly holding the rest of the textbooks in his hands. I laughed slightly, trying not to show my struggle to hold the books and stand back up, but of course he noticed. He frowned slightly and moved the books to his right hand scooped up my other books, setting them on top of his portion, then helping me up, still holding a total of 12 textbooks in one hand. His muscles expanded and firmed as he balanced the books. "Thanks, you didn't have to..." He rolled his eyes. "Really?! No, "wow, your so strong," or "glad you were here. I really wanted to see you, who is in fact the best friend in the world." He said his smirk turning cocky. I smirked back. "I must not tell lies." I said as I tried to pick my books up out of his hand, they wobbled making me lean over the edge of the staircase. I gave a slight shout as I felt myself become off balance and Draco quickly caught my waist steadying me. He took the books from me and set the down, then conjuring them into a bag. He still hasn't let go of my waist, which wasn't necessarily bad. He shouldered the bag. Then turned suddenly, lose to my face. "You should skip the next class, you look stressed." He said simply, intensely staring at my eyes. "I really don't know...Hermione's going to be upset." Draco nodded, before strolling away. I groaned before replying, "of course I'll skip class." He stopped, looking back waiting for me. I jogged towards him. He laughed and laced our hands together, before rather hurriedly adding. "It's a friendly gesture, don't hex me." I smiled as I matched his gate. He took a turn towards my now favorite room in the castle, the room of requirement. He stepped inside to show a love couch and a glowing fire place, with a huge oak bookshelf stuffed orderly with books. I sat on the chair watching Draco pick out a book. His long nimble fingers skimmed the bonds of the books as her went down one...two...three rows. He finally pulled out a rather large novel before sitting beside me. "What is that?" I asked. He looked at me and smiled lightly. "It's a book. Have you ever den one before?" I rolled my eyes. "Yes of course I've seen books, I just didn't know you could read. That's all." He smirked quietly to himself. I gazed at the cover, reading the cursive works, "Romeo and Juliet." I smiled as he flipped open the cover. "Will you read it to me?" I asked, he seemed to appreciate the question. "If you don't mind me stumble over some of the words." I nodded, making him give an actual grin. He began to read, making funny side comments and kept giving me sideways glances. His face seemed to move effortlessly. I reached up, stroking it lightly. He bit his lip slightly, marking his page. "What are you doing?" He asked, trying not to giggle. "Making sure you're human." He raised his eye brows. "Am I?" I shrugged and turned away. "Your expressionless most of the time." I said scrunching my nose up. His eyebrows arched."I may be expressionless, but I defiantly have emotions." He said as if he was sharing a secret. I looked away trying to hide my confusion. He sighed, as if he was disappointed. "Can't stand to look at all the glory." I took a deep breath before lunging at him making him roll off the couch. We landed in a pile on the floor. He was laughing so hard his eyes were watering with I smirked smugly. He propped his figure up on his elbows, stretching his shirt across his toned stomach. My stomach lifted, and I tried not to sigh. "Are you happy?" He asked suddenly. I was caught completely off guard, so I just stared at him, waiting for him to clarify. "Are you happy, with your life, Harry's decisions?" I slowly nodded. He looked down and smiled softly. "Why do you keep smiling to yourself?! Do I have something in my hair?" He smirked, "no, I think you're beautiful, and your smart and funny. It makes me smile." He said it so bluntly, I was yet again astounded. "Well-...thanks...nice abs-I mean, nice smile? Your beautiful too." I said, before blushing harshly. Draco chuckled, "I know. I love how pretty I am as well." I scrunched my eyebrows together. "No, I mean in an elegant,
Rare sense. Your eyes are astounding, with the brilliant hair, your smile is perfect,
And you are the most caring person I have ever met." He looked away....blushing...BLUSHING?! I pulled him towards me studying his face. Was he?! Yes! He
Was! He suddenly placed his lips gently on mine. OMG brain stopped, my breathing slowed, and my eyes flutter close. He smiled as he pulled away. "I love you." I muttered staring at Him,
Before going red,
Wide eyed,
And bewildered.
His eyes widened and he seemed to be...pleased?! What...Draco smiled from my lap. "You were so embarrassed." I laughed, thankful the memory cheered him up. "It was scary! I didn't mean to say it out loud!" He smiled and gently pulled my shirt
Down to His level before heavily kissing me. I smiled, pretending this moment was that one kiss, in the past, while reading Romeo and Juliet. It wasn't that difficult to imagine, and that brought me comfort.Did you like it? Comment and vote and follow but please keep reading:)
