Mione's POV
I would just like to have a normal school semester. Do they make those? Do you have to pay extra each month to purchase them? I'll do it, whatever the cost is. 10 galleons? Fine, 58 galleons and 65 nuts? A little high but it's fine. Sadly I'm practically related to the boy who lived and the seven world class Weasley's, and now to top that I am sharing my darkest and most tragic thoughts with a former death eater that has family problems and is currently and probably forever dating my best friend, but it gets better. After going through all of that I get an "exceptional" on my potions exam! I stormed it of class trying to keep the panic down. And exceptional....ill be brought down. What if I get put in the same class as Neville! Or or...maybe I'm such a disgrace I'd be put in beginners brews with Ron! My eyes were brimmed with tears as I stomped my way to charms. I throw open the door and slam my books on the test and toss my test across the room. Then I realized there were people already in the room. I mentally socked myself in the face as I sat down and tried to melt into the desk. The bell chimed but no one lowered their voice. After 7 years of this class everyone knew that professor Flitwick was never on time. Ginny and Draco were both in this class. They were of course not sitting next to each other, but they would always steal glances and smile all throughout class. This period they seemed to smirk more than smile and Draco continued to...no...why on earth would he be...suddenly he stopped looking at him and looked directly at me. "Yes Granger?" He said with a knowing smile. "Uh...er...you were blushing of all things a second ago!" He dropped his gaze and blushed while biting his lip. Gin doubled over in laughter. Good thing Harry nor Ron wad yet in class, or this would've been hard to explain. He turned back around and didn't reply which was also strange. I desperately tried to signal Ginny and I caught her eye a few times but she turned away. Finally I got so fed up with her ignoring me I balled up my exam and threw it at her. It hit her in the head. She turned slowly around. "What is soooo important?" I hugged in exasperation. "What's with you two?!" She laughed to herself before doing a fingering motion with her hands. My head felt like it was floating. "O-oh." Then the professor stormed in, apologizing for being late. I tried to swallow but my mouth was suddenly dry. The door behind us creaked open as Harry snuck in the class looking a little tussled. The teacher was writing spells on the board, with his back turned. Several boys around me snickered, and Harry reddened as well. He took a seat next to me. I slammed my elbow into him arm making him since and mouth a curse word. "What?!" He hissed as he left handedly pulled his textbook out and flipped to the page mine was open to. "Where were you?! And where's Ron?! You are late. You better hope I don't announce it out loud!" I whispered yelled right I his ear. "I got a bit...busy." I took a deep breath before replying. "Harry, I swear if you've been making out with Ravenclaws again..." He stopped he by pumping my shoulder. "No! And what do you mean again? That was once, but no it was Zabini and Goyle. They tried to mess with me..." I stopped him just by my expression. "Where is Ronald?!" My whisper was so quiet Harry had to lean forward. "He was a little more involved than me, he uh...will be here shortly." I sighed and rolled my eyes as I sunk into my chair. He leaned closer. "I'm glad your feeling better." That caught me off guard. I just nodded then once again caught the eye of Draco. He made an 'are you ok?' gesture. I nodded and he actually looked mildly concerned. 'are you sure?' He mouthed. I rolled my eyes. 'Later.' I mouthed back. He nodded and turned back around.

Ginny was doodling on her paper and no one was paying attention except for me, when Ron finally changed in halfway through class. His lip eat bleeding and a lump was starting to form above his right eye. Harry face palmed and Ginny stabbed him with her quill when he walked by her. He stayed away from me, which was good because I was seething. And I wasn't sure if I would regret what I would to to him afterwards or not. This was the eleventh time he got into a fight! Eleventh! I don't want to have any part of any fighting! He already got 165 points deducted from our house and it's just the start of second term. I sighed and was still struggling to swallow. I heard someone snicker and I found Draco laughing to himself as he took small and simple notes. When Ron finally got situated the professor politely asked where he had been for half the class. "I was uh...cleaning up the hall." The professor nodded and faintly looked amused. "Cleaning the hall? And what happened to your eye and lip there mr. Weasley?" He said in a squeaky voice. "Well I was uh...scrubbing tables professor!" I hit my head on the desk out of embarrassment for him. He quickly looked over the shoulder of Malfoy and copied down my notes that I pretended to not notice him doing to avoid conversation. The bell sounded again and it became a frizzy of quills quickly scratching down the last of the notes and the spell list to do for homework before heading out the door, leaving half their belongings.
