Ginny's POV
I breathed in deeply. Dracos scent filled my nostrils. I wanted to scream that I loved him too and that I was sorry. But...all that came out was, "I love you too." it sounded shallow. Like I was short of breath. It was only three in the afternoon. Draco was still stretching and I still had a ghost of a smile on my face. My thoughts were a different story. Draco cared...that much...harry didnt...he thought it was weird. I could never talk to him about it! I sighed. "Well I'll see you at dinner. I'm gonna go meet up with Mione." He nodded and waved and then smirked. "Ok...what are you all planning on doing?" I drew my eyebrows together and replied. "Um...go to hagrids...maybe go by the black lake...why?" He covered his mouth. "Your going to see a teacher like that?!" I raised my eyebrows and gave him a questioned look. He just continued to smirk and pointed down. I looked down and turned ten shaders darker than my hair. "Uh...i meant after I dressed Draco!" He just arched his eyebrows and laughed. "What if I hadn't been here?! Would you have forgotten to put clothes on?!?!" I just snorted and made a face of mock surprise. "Draco Malfoy can laugh? I thought it was called an "audible smirk" he rolled his eyes as I tugged on my pants and shirt. Then I waved and hurried out. Mione was already standing outside the great hall doors. "Where have you been?!" Hermione exclaimed when I was within earshot. "I over slept. Sorry." She rolled her eyes and followed step beside me. "Ugh. Fine whatever. Where are we gonna go?" I thought about it. "I was thinking the lake but Hogsmeade sounds more appealing." Mione nodded and so we took a left towards the carriages instead of a right towards the lake. "Oh um...i hoped you wouldn't mind...i invited Ron...but he'll only be at the three broomsticks around 5:00. That gives us three hours. Sorry...." I made a face of confusion. "Why? I'm fine with it. I think it would be rather pleasant to have Ron along." Hermione chirped on and on about the new book store that opened up on the corner of the street. "Tomes and scrolls " Was the name of it. I zoned out but I would hear random sentences "oh I heard they sold copies of the new history of magic textbooks!" She then nudged me hard in the ribs and glared. "Are you even listening to me?!" I nodded. "Yeah, you were
Talking about books and...learning..." She rolled her eyes and pushed me into a carriage. "So where are we going first?" She asked after she got over the fact that I didn't listen to any of her speech on the way to the carriages. "Um I don't know...I guess your precious book store will suffice." She squealed and jumped in her seat. "I can't wait." I laughed and rolled my eyes. "Oh really?! I haven't noticed!" I said, my voice full of sarcasm. She scoffed but didn't stop smiling. Then carriage eventually pulled up to the unloading dock in Hogsmeade and came to a stop. First years trickled out of the carriages all around us, laughing and pushing each other. Hermione's head girl instincts kicked in. "Stop. Don't touch any of the other students or I will! Take points away from you houses." The first years looked ashamed of themselves, blushing and looking at the ground before nodding. Hermione's face softened. "Now run along. You mustn't let your classmates get too far ahead." their faces brightened as they jogged away from us towards Honeydukes. Hermione then resumed on with me as if nothing had happened. I shrugged and took a left towards the new bookstore. Hermione skipped the rest of the way to the door and took a deep breath in and breathed with a sigh of delight. "Old Books. They're my favorite thing to smell when I'm sad. They were in the love potion as well." she
Nodded as she told me this information in an a matter of fact tone. I took a second to picture Mione crying in the library with a old history book shoved I her face, with her snorting up all the dust while smelling it. I giggled at the thought. "What are you laughing about. I thought only Draco could make you "giggle?" I shrugged and walked inside so I wouldn't have to explain. She shrugged and followed me inside and gasped. I gasped as well. When a wizard opens a bookstore they don't joke around with filling in all of the available space with books. Every crevice of this little shack was stuffed with crusty yellow pages. I moved to the right towards the "fiction/teen reading" section. Mione stayed behind and looked through old Hogwarts maps and biographies. I heard Mione's footsteps behind me soon after though. She turned down a section labelled "the adventure of James sterling." She seemed interested so she picked the book up and flipped through it. Reading the names of chapters and random paragraphs. She then slightly smiled to herself and put the book in the whicker basket that she picked up at the front. "Ok gin, I think I'm through looking, unless you want something." I was about to turn around but I saw a corner label that read "romance novels" flash by my eyes so I held up a hand signaling Mione to wait and walked over to that section. I saw loads of books with naked people on the covers. I saw the novel "fifty shades of grey" and realized that it was the book of the muggle movie that me and Draco went to after going to the beach for the day. I then saw a small title that read "classics" in old underlined letters that were also raised. Romeo and Juliet was right at eye level. That was Draco's favorite book "by far." As he had stated it. I laughed and picked it up and read the back. It sounded like a pretty good story. I then looked at the price and my face fell. 13 galleons?! That was almost a years worth of allowance. I swallowed a lump in my throat and put the book back down quickly before walking away. I saw that Mione was looking right at me. "Did you uh...see that?" She nodded. "It's nothing to be ashamed of." And that was all that was said about the subject as we paid and exited the old shack that was flooding with books.
