The sun was bright and hot on the streets of the City of Progress. Wealthy citizens and Enforcers roamed Piltover, enjoying the rays of sunshine and the safe atmosphere they all believed they lived in. But the streets were far from safe. The presence of Enforcers gave citizens a false sense of security, letting their guard down and making Piltover easy pickings for thieves.

Dina was just a young adult from the Undercity, it's official name, Zaun. She would occasionally come to Topside to look around, explore the different parts of the city, although, keeping her hood up and avoiding trouble, the same way she always has since she was a child. It fascinated her how different Piltover and Zaun were, when only a bridge separated them, but at the same time it disgusted her. While the Zaunites are left to starve and brawl over scraps of food and minimal coins, The people of Piltover wandered the streets, without a care in the world and their pockets fat from currency. Piltover didn't give a shit about Zaun, as long as they were fed and happy, then to hell with everywhere else.

As Dina wandered the streets, fantasizing over what it would be like to be wealthy and ignorant, a hooded person around her height ran past her, barging into her as they continued running, they turned a sharp corner, leaving nothing but dust behind them as they scurried away. Dina looked around, confused, until she saw a group of Enforcers turn the corner where she was standing. Her hood was up, she was approximately the same height as the culprit who had clearly evaded the Enforcers, but not before passing the heat onto her.

One of the enforcers took out his baton, extending it and walking towards Dina, who held up her hands in surrender
"Whoa, hold on big guy... The person you want, went that way..."
She informed them, pointing towards the alley where the real culprit had disappeared moments ago. But the enforcer didn't have a care in the world for the words that left her mouth... All he was a shady-looking undercity rat and he wanted someone to pin the crime on.
"You think I'm going to believe a dirty Zaunite like you, you're all the same. Just thieves and murderers who don't care about anyone but yourselves..."
He said, approaching her slowly, causing Dina to scoff
"You're one to talk, how many of us 'dirty Zaunites' have you killed without consequence anyway? And you say we're all the same..."

Before she could continue, the enforcer swung his baton in her direction with all of his strength and weight. When Dina ducked swiftly, the enforcer stumbled, leaving a window for Dina to lock his arm to her torso and knee him in the stomach, before snatching the baton and beating him into the floor and leaving him unconscious. When she looked up, the other enforcers were already charging for her, just as one swung for her again, she jumped back.

Knowing that she was outnumbered, she dropped the baton and ran straight for the alley that the criminal had dipped in previously, fleeing from the enforcers who were running in tow. She ran between different alleyways and dashed past sharp corners, hoping to slow the enforcers down with her agility. And it worked for a while, until she was cut off by two enforcers, leaving her trapped in an alleyway. She looked around in panic, looking for anything to use, until she saw a pipe that was connected to the gutter of a house. Without hesitation, she grabbed onto the pipe and climbed, quickly evading the enforcers.

As she made it to the roof, she looked down to see the enforcers scattering from the alley below, trying to find a way up that would support the heavy weight of their ridiculous armor. Letting out a sigh of relief, Dina took her hood down and looked around, getting her bearings. When she didn't know where she was, she scratched the back of her neck, anxious. She was lost.

Dina continued looking around, looking for any sort of landmark that would tell her where she is, before she remembered a very basic trick she learned as a kid.
"Okay... The sun rises in the east, and sets in the west... If I head south from here I should find one of the entrances home... I hope..."
And with that, the young adult headed South.

As she jumped between buildings, she knew she was nearing home, feeling confident she was going the right way as she now started to recognise the area. Just as she walked along one of the roofs, she heard a radio engaging nearby and someone reporting into it.
"Fuck? enforcers..."
She mumbled as she looked down into the street next to her, there were patrols everywhere, and they were all looking for her.
"I can't expose the entrance to the undercity... I'm going to have to find somewhere and lay low for a while."
She spoke softly to herself, ensuring no one could hear her thinking out loud.

Dina looked around, looking for somewhere to hole up for the next few hours, although with a city as fancy as Piltover, hideouts and abandoned buildings were non-existent, which made laying low nearly impossible for the adult.
"I'll just keep going and try to find something on the way..."
She spoke to herself before continuing towards the undercity entrance.

During her route, she noticed something a few buildings over, a skylight that would most likely lead to an attic... A perfect place to hide if Dina were to stay quiet. Sighing in relief, she began making her way over, jumping over to the next building. As she made her way over to the skylight, she checked the streets below, unsurprisingly, the enforcers were still hanging around, not showing any signs of leaving soon.

When she noticed the large distance between her destination and where she was standing, she realised the chances of her making the jump was slim... But what else is she supposed to do? Lead the enforcers right to Zaun's doorstep. Dina took deep breaths as she stepped back, giving herself a run up. She was hesitant, naturally. She didn't have a death wish and she certainly didn't want to get caught by the enforcers. After counting to three, she forced her legs to propel her forward as she sprant to the edge and leapt.

The leap felt like it lasted forever, and just when she thought she made it, her jump was too short, only slightly. She smashed into the side of the building without bracing herself and immediately reached for the edge of the roof. But her hand slipped off of it before she could get a secure grip and she kept falling, panicking, she reached for anything she could grab in the mere seconds she spent falling. Only to hit her head on the balcony she reached for on her way down, the force of the blow knocked her unconscious and she hit the concrete floor with a loud thud.

When she awoke, she was laid in a puddle of her own blood, and couldn't move. She looked around with a blurry vision and saw three enforcers surrounding her, and then darkness consumed her.
