Dina's first night in prison wasn't as bad as she had imagined. Since she arrived through the night, she wasn't able to eat, or do much at all besides sit in the concrete box she was locked in and stare at the wall. She couldn't sleep, because not only did she feel unsafe around the cellmate she didn't know, the hunger was making her restless, but that was a feeling she had gotten used to. The hungry nights spent in the Undercity, with no parents or family to help her, she was left to fend for herself at a young age, just an abandoned child having to sleep in the alleys of Zaun. But for many Zaunites, including Dina, this fate was common, and not the worst fate to come by compared to those turned feral after years of poverty and barely being able to survive.
She couldn't tell what time it was from her cell, there were no windows or any ray of light from anywhere in the hallway, the only source of light she had was the dimly light torches on the walls, and even they didn't do her any favours. She could barely make out that her cellmate was still awake under the poor lighting, she was sitting the same way she had since Dina entered the cell, and hadn't moved since. Dina's guess is that she secretly felt just as uneasy about her new cellmate as Dina did.
"What's your name?"
Dina asked, trying to get to know her cellmate as well as pass the time.
"Wouldn't you like to know"
The pink haired inmate scoffed
"I would, that's why I asked..."
No response, the girl had simply ignored Dina.
She shifted in her concrete bed and faced the pink haired girl, finally, getting a better look at her and the tattoos, at least the ones she could see.
"Look, I'm not your enemy, and we're clearly going to be stuck together for a while. So how about we both play nice and maybe, just maybe, we can actually make this hellhole a bit more bareable for each other"
Dina started.
"My name is Dina, but if you don't want to talk then suit yourself"
She introduced herself, hearing nothing but silence in response, she sighed and laid down, letting sleep consume her as she was fairly confident that the pink haired woman wasn't going to move any time soon.

After what felt like five minutes of sleep, Dina awoke to the sound of her cell door opening loudly. She quickly sat up and rubbed her eyes, before seeing her cellmate more clearly than before she went to sleep, she leaned against the bars of the cell, looking at Dina.
"Come on, it's time for breakfast"
She said simply before beginning to walk out of the cell and down the hall, with Dina walking in tow.
"Don't tell anyone anything about yourself, if you want to make it long. Find a group that will keep you safe and you'll survive"
She continued, Dina nodded in acknowledgment before they both reached what was clearly the prison's refectory.
The two inmates made their way to the front of the refectory, grabbing food trays as they went. While they were queuing, Dina could feel eyes burning into the back of her head, until she noticed it wasn't just one person staring at her, but almost the entire refectory had their eyes fixated on the new inmate. She felt her palms begin to sweat as she worried about her safety, and as she looked in front of her, her cellmate kept to herself, not even bothering to acknowledge Dina's existence
"Looks like I'm on my own now..."
She whispered to herself, sighing as the queue moved along. This was going to be harder than she thought.
