When the sound of Dina punching Vi had dissipated. Dina looked at Vi with shock. After seeing what the woman could do to those three guys, she worried for her life. But instead of retaliating, Vi simply chuckled

"It really doesn't take much to provoke you... Try again"
Now she knew how it felt to get her anger out, especially when most of it was aimed at her cellmate, she took another swing without hesitation. Only for it to be blocked this time, Vi raised her hand, stopping Dina's fist in its tracks and shoved her back.

After being told to punch Vi again and not being allowed, Dina felt frustration boil inside of her, so she tried again. This time, Vi ducked underneath the swing, grabbing Dina's leg and pulling it up as she returned to a normal stance, making Dina lose balance and fall.
"I thought you could fight?"
She questioned, not too confident in Dina's previous assurances.
Shaking her head, Dina kicked her leg out while she remained on the floor. She kicked Vi in the shin making her stumble on one knee while Dina got up.
"Oh, you're one of those"
She acknowledged, like she was examining Dina's every move.

Vi climbed back to her feet. After cracking her neck, she sent a flurry of punches in Dina's direction, after blocking and dodging a few of them, the last ones made connection with her stomach and a following uppercut collided with her jaw. But the punches were surprisingly soft. Not taking a second to notice this. Dina only thought about how Vi was not attacking her too. After dodging another blow sent by Vi, she tackled Vi into the wall behind her, only to expose herself to a headlock.

Although the collision with the wall hurt, Vi was not shaken at all, she simply elbowed Dina in the back, making her grunt before she put her hands under the gap between their bodies and shoved her back, satisfied with what she saw Dina do.
"You need some work, that's for sure"
Dina looked at Vi baffled
"I need some work? You barely landed a punch"
She exclaimed in offense
"Because I wasn't trying to hurt you. Trust me, if I were you wouldn't be standing right now"
Vi explained, grabbing their toiletry bags and throwing Dina's in her direction for her to catch.

Once she did, Vi began leaving the bathroom with Dina in tow.
"Did you at least get some frustrations out?"
Vi asked as they walked
"Some, you didn't help with your constant bugging"
Dina complained, sighing
"Well, one thing is for sure. You can throw one hell of a hook"
Vi complimented, holding her jaw as the pain faded away, finally.
"But I didn't think you would be the kind of person to try taking it to the ground"
She admitted, shrugging as they made their way to the refectory for the final half an hour of breakfast.

Dina simply smirked
"Yeah, I let you get up though, I'm not a fan of hurting you"
"Oh, you didn't. But we'll work on it. You'll need to learn to fight properly if you want to do what I do. Rolling around on the floor throwing punches is a dirty way to fight, so you'll need to drop that too"

The two inmates entered the refectory and grabbed their food trays. Well, Vi grabbed Dina's tray for her and gave it to her before leading her to the front of the queue, cutting out the other inmates in line who complained angrily. After they grabbed their slop, they took a seat at a table far from the one Dina made trouble at the day before and began eating.
"There's one thing I never told you about my work, there's a perk you can earn if you do certain jobs for the right people"
Vi started in a hushed tone, keeping the conversation private from the rest of the refectory.
"You begin to earn the loyalty of who you work for if you do jobs for them repeatedly. They'll feel as though they can count on you to do their dirty work and clean up their messes. So, when you get in trouble, they don't want to risk losing your services, and they'll back you up. When people know you've got strong alliances, they won't even look at you funny"
Vi explained, eating her slop with a scowl as she tasted its foulness.

Dina took every word in, nodding. The anger had fully passed now and she was back to being friends with Vi. As Vi continued explaining the ins and outs of her jobs, Dina continued eating, listening closely.
"If you wanted, I could teach you how to fight properly"
Vi offered as she finished the last spoonful of her slop
"Sure, but don't you think our cell is too small to be fighting"
"Of course it is, that's why we'll meet up before dinner. You don't want to fight after eating this poor excuse for what they call food"
Vi said, smiling. Dina couldn't help but smile in response, seeing Vi look positive about something was something she had never seen before. But perhaps she'd see more of that if they were going to be training together.
