Chapter 30

Once finished in the shower, Vi was the first to step out, grabbing her towel and rubbing the water out of her hair before wrapping it around herself. As she stood in front of the sink, looking into a mirror, she could see a flustered Dina stumbling out in the reflection, her legs were shaking and her face was bright red. Vi simply smiled and turned to face her, leaning on the side of the sink. Dina looked up at her lover with a smile as she walked over to the sink, splashing water on her face to cool herself down.
"We should get breakfast"
Vi suggested
"I need a moment first"
She said, leaning on the sink
"Was it that good?"
Vi smirked, Dina simply rolled her eyes and looked at her lover in disbelief
"Duh"
She said before looking into the mirror and noticing the love bite on her neck, which was clearly worse than the one she gave Vi.

As soon as Vi noticed what Dina was looking at, she giggled slightly.
"You wanted me to bite harder, that one is on you"
She said explained. Without a response Dina began getting dressed, not caring that Vi could see, it wasn't anything new for her. The one thing Vi had noticed was that the scar on Dina's shoulder wasn't just on her shoulder, it stretched down her side. She hadn't noticed this before and now that they were under a bright light, she had realised just how bad the fire had caught Dina when she was younger. How did she survive that on her own?

When she realised that Dina was almost ready, she threw her clothes on to catch up before running her fingers through her pink hair, making it look neater. Once ready, the two grabbed their toiletry bags and headed off to get some food.

Once at the refectory, Dina immediately noticed the heightened attention towards her. A lot of inmates were staring, and this worried her until she realised they were probably staring at the mark on her neck. After taking grabbing their food and heading to their usual spot, they didn't even get the chance to eat their food before someone approached them.
"I need your help"
She lead with, sitting down next to Dina.
"What's up?"
Vi asked, she looked at the inmate with concern, like they knew eachother.
"I've been hearing some talk among the cons"
The inmate spoke, her voice was shaky like she was in fear.
"I made a mistake, I slept with some guy... It was just a spur of the moment, and now there's talk of how I'm a slut and will take anything anyone gives me"
She explained.

Vi simply shrugged before shoving food into her mouth.
"Why do you care for rumours? You know it's not true"
She said, but the woman shook her head
"It's not just the rumour... three guys who group together have heard the rumour and have gotten ideas into their heads, I hear it all of the time whenever I pass their table"
Vi suddenly stopped eating, dropping her fork and looking up at the fearful woman, full of concern.
"What ideas?"
She asked, her voice was laced with hostility as she spoke.
"You know... Three guys, one helpless girl... do the math, Vi"
She explained with a lump forming in her throat.

Dina took a moment to look at the woman that sat next to her, she quite petite, smaller than your stereotypical con, if it were three fully grown dudes, she clearly wouldn't stand a chance. She clearly knew the odds were stacked against her when she came to Vi for help.
"Who?"
Vi asked, venom in her voice, clearly this was a topic that didn't sit well with her. The woman leaned on her hand, slyly pointing in the direction of a table with three bulky guys, they were sitting as they ate their food, laughing at one another and lost in conversation. They didn't look like type of people to plan something so vile.
"Are you sure it's them?"
Vi asked, looking at them out of the corner of her eye, when one of them fixed their gaze on the distraught woman for a second with a smirk, that confirmed everything. Vi suddenly got up, ready to act right away, before Dina grabbed her arm
"Not here. You'll get caught"
She said, pulling her back to the table to sit down
"Fine, we'll get them on their way back to their cells"
Vi said, sitting down
"It's too risky, we need to think up a plan for this"
Dina explained, she wasn't wrong, but Vi couldn't wait.
"They could act tonight, we need to take care of this, Dee"
She said, her frustrated expression told Dina everything. This was important to her.

"Fine, we'll get them before the cells close but we'll only have a five minute window, maybe less"
Dina said, Vi nodded and started to relax
"A good warning and a trip to the infirmary should wisen them up"
Vi said, cracking her knuckles
"And if it doesn't?"
The woman next to Dina asked
"Then we'll have to take it to new lengths. This shit will not fly, I don't own the place but I won't stand by and watch as women get taken advantage of"
Vi responded before picking up her fork once more.
"How much do you want for the job?"
The woman asked once again, but Vi shook her head
"We don't want anything for this, we only need your help..."
