Chapter 23

It had been a week or so since Sevika had gotten out and Dina had opened up about her past. It was just a normal, boring week as Vi recovered from the injuries she was gifted from the C.O's. Now that she was almost fully healed, she jumped straight back in to work, not being able to afford to take longer off. She sought out contracts from anyone she could, but finally, she found one that didn't seem like a suicide mission and the contractor was willing to pay well for it.

After dinner had ended, she wasted no time in heading back to her cell, eager to tell Dina about the contract she landed for the pair of them. Just as she expected, Dina was sat on her bunk, relaxing.
"Hey Dee, I got us another job"
Vi said, entering the cell and sitting next to her friend as she sat up. Dina's eyes were quick to fill with dread, last time didn't go smoothly for Vi, and she didn't want to risk the same happening again.

Vi knew immediately what she was thinking, and she was quick to speak before Dina could voice her doubts.
"I know what you're thinking, the last one was a risky one though. Doing jobs for C.O's is always more riskier because although they work together, the C.O's are always suspicious of one another. It's easy to fall into their crosshairs when they sense foul play against someone. But fights between inmates? They couldn't care less, it's not a mess they need to clean up, that's just more paperwork for the higher ups"

Although Vi had tried to assure her, something still didn't sit well with Dina. Maybe she cared too much about Vi that she wasn't willing to see her get hurt, but that was a good thing, right?

The cell doors locked shut and the C.O announced that lights out would commence soon.
"Fine, what do I need to know"
Dina gave in, whether she was in or not, Vi would still do this because she needed it. At least now she could make sure Vi wouldn't get hurt. Vi's face lit up, so was glad that Dina had agreed.
"Okay, so it's just a simple lift. No violence... I mean, if we don't get caught in the act"
Dina nodded, waiting for the details.
"So the guy who hired me, he had something stolen, something he had to pull a lot of strings to get. It's a crucifix he had specially made for him. Very shiny, very easy to steal"

Dina raised her eyebrow in shock
"All of this, for a crucifix?"
"It's not just any old crucifix, he explained to me why it was so important when I turned down the job at first. It's apparently been fashioned into a shiv, where you can remove the longer piece which is it's sheath. Apparently our guy has a lot of enemies and he needs the protection. He doesn't have the people to back him up and that was all he had. Our target doesn't even know what he's stolen, he just saw some fancy cross and thought it would sell well. But we need to get it before he sells it off to some C.O, and gets our guy caught for contraband when he checks it and finds out the original owner"

Dina took a second to catch up, it all seemed a bit far fetched for her, but stranger things have happened in prison.
"When is he planning on selling it?"
"In a couple of days, we can grab it tomorrow while everyone is getting their food"
"And how do we do that?"
The next while was spent with Vi going over a plan which seemed fairly foolproof to Dina, the job seemed easy. One of them would keep the target in the refectory while the other searched his bunk, there was nothing that could go wrong.

The usual yell of the C.O announcing lights out could be heard from the bottom of the hall before the lights dimmed, only allowing a source from the torches that hung from the walls in the corridor.
"We should probably get an early night, anyway"
Dina suggested before taking off her boots and laying down, Vi copied her movements and laid beside her, hugging her from behind as she got comfy. This became a normal routine for them since Vi had first snuck into Dina's bed, neither of them were willing to turn down the opportunity for each other's warmth, and sleeping with each other was comforting for the pair of them.

After closing her eyes for a moment, Dina felt Vi's touch on her stomach, and it made her gasp as butterflies shot through her body. This was a normal thing, Vi would rest her arm over Dina's waist and her hand would graze her stomach, but today this felt different. When she looked down she quickly realised her shirt was slightly lifted and the reason it felt different was because her touch was on her bare skin. Vi noticed the change in Dina's breathing and was quick to ask if she was okay. When she nodded, Vi relaxed.

But after feeling her touch for a few more moments, Dina couldn't calm down, the mix of desire and arousal coursed through her veins, this was a new situation for her. Vi finally realised what was going on with Dina when she moved her hand slightly, trying to get comfy only to earn a deep breath in response. Vi smirked before making further contact with Dina's bare skin, making her whimper silently. After being certain of what was happening, Vi placed a gentle kiss on Dina's shoulder, careful not to overstep any boundaries. When Dina moved her head to expose more skin, Vi placed a trail of kisses up her neck, making Dina whimper and bite her lip.

Vi placed her hand fully on Dina's bare stomach, running it gently up her torso from under her shirt as she kissed her neck, making Dina moan quietly at the contact, it was like her senses were overwhelmed. Vi's warmth could be felt in many places as she kissed her neck and explored her torso gently, as well as being pressed against her back. Her natural scent filled Dina's nose, and it was intoxicating. She turned on her back and faced Vi, raising her arm to grab Vi by the back of the neck and pulled her in for a heated kiss. Vi sat up slightly to position herself on top of Dina as she grabbed the hem of her shirt, looking at Dina for approval before lifting it up when she nodded.

Vi leaned back in for another heated kiss while she explored Dina's body. As she touched her bare skin, Dina twitched and jumped each time she got somewhere sensitive, making Vi smile into the kiss, she loved how reactive her cell mate was. Surprisingly for Vi, Dina took the kiss a step further by biting Vi's lower lip, trapping it between her teeth for a second before letting go and pulling her back in for another kiss, this made Violet's entire face burn red for the first time since she had met Dina. She couldn't contain herself from the arousal that one simple action caused, refusing to lose control, she deepened the kiss, shoving her tongue into Dina's mouth. This movement startled Dina slightly but she was quick to react, copying the same movements as their tongues danced in sync, exploring each other's taste.

Before Vi could react, Dina grabbed the hem of her shirt and lifted it over her head, breaking the kiss as she did so. Without a care in the world that she was now exposed. Vi took Dina's hands in her own, interlocking their fingers as she pinned them above Dina's head. She gave her another heated kiss before moving to her neck, biting gently on a sensitive spot that tore a moan from Dina's throat. Her moan made Violet's whole body clench with arousal, her blood ran cold as she continued with her actions, desperate to hear Dina moan once more.
