Chapter 35

As Vi and Dina returned to their cell, Vi was quick to walk towards the back wall and slam her fist into the concrete. This was the first time Dina had seen her lover like this since she had met her. She knew Vi could get angry, but this was like another level of rage. As Vi threw her other closed fist into the wall, grumbling, Dina reached out to her and touched her shoulder.
"Vi, do you care to explain what that was?"
She said, Vi heaved a heavy sigh before turning to face Dina, her eyes filled with hatred.
"That asshole was there. The day Vander died..."
Her eyes widened as she began recalling that day once more.
"The day I lost my family, my sister. He was there, I fought him"
Vi said, her anger collapsing into sadness slowly as she sat on her bunk
"Did he hurt you?"
Dina asked, sitting next to her lover and rubbing circles into her back in an attempt to comfort her. Suddenly, Vi chuckled.
"He didn't even get a chance. One hit with Vander's cast iron gauntlet's and he was out like a light"
She smirked, feeling proud of herself for taking on a man who must have been twice her size when they fought.

Vi sat back, sighing, she seemed less stressed.
"Did it make you feel better? Breaking his jaw?"
Dina asked, sitting back so she was laid by Vi's side.
"Of course it did, but it doesn't mean that I don't want to take Silco down for what he did. He took everything from me"
She said, cracking her knuckles as the image of tearing him apart entered her mind. Dina simply cuddled into the side of her lover, burying her head into Vi's neck.
"When we get out, I'll help you get your revenge"
She said, making Vi smile. Without a word, she wrapped her arms around Dina's torso and pulled her onto her chest.

Dina looked at her lover in shock after feeling the raw strength behind lifting Dina onto her. She laid there for a second, staring at Vi as she laid on her, propping herself up with her arms on each side of Vi's head. They stared at each other intently for a second before Dina leaned down, placing a delicate kiss that was filled with passion on her lovers lips. Vi raised her hands and rested them on Dina's hips as they kissed, there was no lust involved, it was just pure love that radiated between them as their lips moved in sync. When they pulled apart, Vi looked up at Dina, who had an adorable smile plastered on her flushed face.
"I love you too"
She said, making Dina's smile widen, she had assumed Vi had forgotten about her comment or said nothing because she didn't feel that strongly about Dina, but this moment changed everything.

Dina let out an excited squeal before kissing Vi again, this moment was perfect. When they pulled apart, Vi pulled Dina's body against hers, hugging her tightly. Despite the bad morning she had with seeing Silco's goon, she was beaming with happiness, her anger was long forgotten and replaced with her utter joy as the two lovers held each other.

I know my updates haven't been as speedy as usual, Christmas has taken up a lot of my free time now that it's getting closer, but my upload speed will return to normal soon, I promise. With that being said, I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas! I am aware not everyone celebrates Christmas, and unfortunately I'm not too clued up on anything other than the typical Christmas tradition. However, even if you don't celebrate Christmas, I wish you a good end of the year all the same!
