After Dina and Vi had finished their breakfast, they headed back to their cell, going over the plan their job for the next time they were able to leave their cell. "Do you know the guy you met in the refectory earlier?" Vi asked, Dina nodded in response. "That's our mark" She continued, before being interrupted by Dina "Him? And you punched him? Aren't you worried that you've compromised the job? He'll be hiding in his cell and that's where we need to be" Dina complained, sighing before holding her head in her hands. "Me punching him did us a favour. The guy will be terrified of me, and now that he knows he doesn't have a chance, he won't challenge me if I be up front with him" Vi explained, wrapping the hand she never got the chance to wrap earlier. "And how do you intend to be up front to him? What are you going to say?" "I'll go to his cell, and tell him I'm going to toss his bunk as insurance for harrassing you. Since he's already met me in a bad fashion, he wont question it and will just have to hope that I don't find the cross, but I will" "And where do I come in to this?" Dina asked, confused as to why she's needed. "Well, it's not what the original plan was, I was going to have you distract him while I searched his cell. But that plan is off of the table. I just need you to make sure he doesn't make trouble for me while I have my back turned. Plus, if you're with me then he'll have more reason to believe our act is related to this morning"
Dina took a second to process the plan before smiling. "This seems easy enough, did you settle on a price for the job?" Dina asked "We wouldn't be doing this if I didn't. Trust me, you'll get your cut" Dina nodded in approval, satisfied with the answers she recieved.

After waiting for what seemed like forever, a loud beep echoed through the corridor followed by the cell doors opening. Vi and Dina wasted no time climbing to their feet and walking out of their cell. Instead of heading to the refectory, they walked in the opposite direction, eager to get the job done. As they neared the cell, the sound of an argument could be heard within, so Vi took Dina's hand and lead her a few paces back before leaning against the wall. Their target's cellmate couldn't be around, it would make the backlash of this job the same as the last time, which ended up in Vi taking a beating, she had to be careful.
As they waited, they could hear the cellmate ranting and raving about how the newbie had put a target on their backs. With Sevika gone, Vi was now the most feared inmate in Stillwater, and that title was well deserved, she was an intimidating woman. After letting out a groan of frustration, the inmate's cellmate took off, he walked in the direction of Vi and Dina with his head low, grumbling. When he saw Vi as he passed, she simply nodded at him, letting him know that he was safe. Suddenly the guy's body language changed, he let out a sigh of relief and carried on walking, pretending to have seen nothing.
Vi walked ahead of Dina, walking to the gates of the cell and leaning on the bars "Knock knock" She said, making the inmate jump "What do you want? You've already got a hit in" The inmate said, gesturing to the lump that had now formed where he was hit. "Yeah... But now I need something else from you... You see, you gave my girl a fright with the way you acted, and now I'm going to need compensation" Vi asked, Dina stood behind her quietly, but her prescence was known to the inmate. "What are you after?" His voice trembled, whatever his cellmate told him had made him fear Vi more than he did after she knocked him out. "I want you to get out of your cell... We'll toss your bunk and take anything worth taking. After that, we'll decide if your newly found debt has been paid" "But I don't have anything" He pleaded, desperate. Vi simply clicked her tongue and shook her head "That's for us to decide, get out" She said sternly.
The guy stood up and walked slowly, desperate not to leave his precious cross behind. Vi grew impatient and grabbed him by his arm, throwing him out of the cell while Dina made sure he stood against the wall. "If you were the hardcore con that you claim to be. You'd know that you never make a move on me, or my girl. That right there is common sense, which you have none of" Vi said as she grabbed his blanket and pillow and threw them off of the bed, searching the empty space underneath. "Let this be a lesson to you, do not fuck with other inmates and you won't find trouble at your doorstep. Do you understand?" Vi asked, it was like her personality had completely shifted now that she was keeping up a reputation. The con nodded and muttered a 'yes'. After thoroughly searching his bunk, Vi sighed, aggravated. "There's nothing here..." She said, facepalming "What? That can't be" Dina shook her head in refusal. This job couldn't fail.
Suddenly, Dina approached the con, grabbing him by his collar and slamming him into the wall "Where is it!" She demanded "Where is what? I don't know what you're talking about!" The guy panicked, raising his hands in surrender. "I saw you with a cross, it was covered in jewels, what did you do with it!" She yelled, hitting him against the wall one more time. She lied, of course she hadn't seen it, but she couldn't expose the job. When the guy blubbered nonsence, Dina hit him against the wall one more time. "If you don't give me an answer in the next five seconds, your next trip will be to the infirmary! Where is the cross!" She bellowed, Vi simply watched with widened eyes from behind. This side of Dina was oddly arousing.
When he wouldn't give her an answer, Dina took one hand from his collar and punched him in the gut before shoving him aside. She rubbed her face in frustration before hearing something blunt hit the floor, followed by a clink sound. When she looked down, there it laid, the cross they were after. "You lying piece of shi-" Vi grabbed Dina as she approached the inmate, ready give him the walloping of his life "We've got it, Dee. There's no need to hurt him. Let's just go" She said, pulling Dina back. Quickly, Dina snapped out of her fit of anger and sighed, before turning around and leaving down the hallway with her lover.
Authour's Note: Here's a fun fact, the cross that Dina and Vi stole is a type of shiv that actually exists! It was found in a prison in Germany in 1994, this type of shiv was common because it was made in the workshops while the prisoners worked. Although they were just simple wooden crosses, there wasn't any jewels on them, but I had to make it so it was something worth stealing, and what's better than a few fancy jewels built into it?
