Ross P.O.V.
It took me a little longer to find her place than I thought. I pulled into her driveway and walked up to her front door. I've never felt so nervous about knocking on a girls door before. I mean, c'mon. I'm Ross freakin' Lynch, all the girls love me. But this one. She's different. She admires my work and thinks I'm talented but she doesn't like me the way other girls do.
The door opens breaking me from my thoughts.
"Hello there Mrs. Garnett. I'm Ross Lynch."
"Well, hello there Ross. It's nice to finally meet you. And please call me Sharon"
"It's nice to meet you too. Is Kat here?"
"Yes, she is, she's up in her room. Come with me for a second."
I followed her up the stairs until she stopped right outside what I'm assuming was Kat's bedroom. She motioned for me to keep quiet and listen.Just sitting here feeling like a zombie
Rock it up, let's get it on
We can dance in the streets 'til midnight
Blood pumping to the beat of this song
We can run through the city and the bright lights
Taking chances living life out loud
Come over here
Come over here
You, me, now
We can rock it in the rain
Rock it on the beach
Rock it in the dark
Rock it on repeat
Baby baby
You and me
We can rock it in the street
Rock out in the car
We don't gotta be discreet
Doesn't matter where we are
Baby baby
Young and free
Come on and rock that rock with meShe was singing 'Rock that rock', and I have to say she was amazing. Especially because she thought no one was listening. I took my chance and opened to door slowly so I could watch her. She was on her bed with her hairbrush as a microphone dancing around and performing to an invisible crowd. She was amazing, I mean as amazing as you can be in your bedroom.
She was jumping on the bed and she must've seen us, because she threw down the hairbrush and jumped off the bed.
"Guys! Ever heard of knocking?!"
"Sorry, you were just too amazing. I couldn't let you stop." I couldn't see it but I'm pretty sure I blushed.
"Thanks. But knock next time. Mum you should've known. You've walked in on this too many times before."
"Sorry hun, I wanted Ross to see how amazing you are"
She gave her mum a death glare which lasted all of 2 seconds until she smiled and walked to give her a hug.
"So Kitty Kat, what was this plan you guys came up with?"
"Ross came up with it actually." Mrs Garnett turned and looked at me.
"Uh, um, yeah. I thought that maybe Kat could come with us to Sydney, go backstage for the concert and spend time with us while we're on vacation."
"That's so sweet Ross. But how will she get down to Sydney and where will she stay while she's there?"
"My parents said they'd pay for a plane ticket and she would be staying at the hotel with us." I was so nervous right now. I was afraid her mom was going to change her mind and say a downright no to Kat coming with us.
"Everything's sorted? She's staying with you at the hotel? She won't be left on her own, one of you will be with her the entire time?"
"Oh, I won't be leaving her side. Except when I'm on stage. But other than that we'll be practically attached at the hip."
She stood there for a few seconds thinking about it. Kat was staring at her mum with so much concentration I thought she would catch fire.
"I think that sounds ok. But I'll be paying for the plane ticket." She gave both of us a smile, knowing how much we wanted her to say yes.
"No. No. It's our pleasure. She'll be our guest."
"Be our guest, be our guest. Put our survive to ze test." Kat sang. Her mom and I just looked at her and laughed.
"What?" She asked us which made us laugh harder.
"You're so cute" I said to her.
She just blushed and laughed with us.
So it's decided. Kat is coming to Sydney with us and I'm gonna be able to spend more time with her. BEST. DAY. EVER!!
