Hanging In The Hotel

Ross's P.O.V

Kat and I were spending the night in mine and my brothers hotel room watching movies. We had just gone through 'John Tucker must die' and now we were watching 'SAW'. My family went out for dinner tonight which left me and Kat alone. She said she could handle a horror movie, but from what I'm witnessing right now I think she was trying to prove she was brave. We were cuddled up together in my bed and she had hidden herself in my armpit. I couldn't help but smile at how comfortable I feel with her in my arms.

I decided to put her out of her misery and turn the TV off. Once she realised I'd turned it off, she sat back up and gave me a confused look.
"I could see how freaked out you were so I just decided to turn it off," I explained to her.
"Thank you."
"How about we just go to bed. I bet you're really tired."

"I am. Um, but where do I sleep?"
Shit. I don't think any of us thought about that.
"Uh, with me. In my bed."
"Ross, no." she turned away with a pained look on her face
"No. No. No. I didn't mean like that. I j-just.. thought we c-could.. share the bed."
"Oh, ok then," suddenly her face went bright. "Is that ok with your family?"
"Why wouldn't it be?"
"Because we just met. And because I kind of get this feeling that your brothers like me too."
"Yeah. They do. Which is why I wanted you to come to Sydney with us. So you and I could get to know each other better and maybe become more than friends."
She just smiled at me and nodded. Ok, was I not supposed to say that? Crap, I just ruined it for myself didn't I? Crap!

I just got into bed and got comfortable trying to forget the huge ass I made of myself. Once I was comfortable and still, I felt her arm go around me and rest on my chest. I hope she can't feel my heart beat right now, because it's going a mile a minute. I held her hand and fell into a deep sleep feeling the happiest I've ever been.
