Hiding Something

Ross' P.O.V.

I came home to find Del and Kat sitting in my room, on my bed, talking quietly.
"Hey guys. What's happenin'?" I asked walking into the room slowly. They looked up at me, and I could tell that something had happened.
"Is everything ok?" I asked as I walked up to them and stood behind Kat, wrapping my around her shoulders.
"Yeah, yeah. Everything's fine." Kat answered bringing her hands up to hold onto my arms.
"So what happened while I was out?" I asked.
"Nothing much. Kat, Riker and I had a girls time." Del giggled.
"Riker? Girls time? What the fuck does that mean?" I laughed.
"It means we talked girly stuff, and Riker joined in. It actually wasn't as bad as I had originally thought it would be." Kat told me.
"Wow. That's, well that's a weird thing to come home and hear." We all laughed. I saw Kat yawn and I couldn't hold one in myself.
"I'll leave you guys to go to bed. Don't want you tired tomorrow for your birthday," Del said as she got up.
"Night Delly. I love you," I said.
"See you in the morning sis," Kat said.
"Love you too guys," she closed the door behind her.

I was curious as to where everyone else was now. It was only 8:00 and no one was watching TV downstairs or eating in the kitchen or dining room.
"Do you know where everyone is Kat?" I asked heading for my closet to get my PJ's.
"Well Riker's in his room, you know where Rydel is. I think Ryland was staying the night at Maya's, and the same with Rocky. But he's not at Maya's, obviously he's with Lucy. Haha."
"Where are my parents?"
"Oh. I don't know." She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. "I think they might be in their room."
"That's cool. I was just wondering why no one was down stairs and doing stuff." I took my shirt off to change.
"Aren't you gonna have a shower?" She giggled.
I smelled my pits for a second before I pulled away realising how much I stank. She laughed and I threw my PJ's at her.

"Please don't fall asleep while I'm in the shower." I picked up my towel.
"I haven't had a shower yet either," she winked at me, pulling her shirt off too. Leaving her in her white sports bra.
"Who needs a shower," I was trying to take my pants off now. She put her hands on mine and stopped me.
"We do. Because we smell, hahahaha" I love her laugh. It's so cute and it always makes me feel like laughing with her.
"So are we gonna shower or not?" She snapped me from my thoughts.
"Wha..? Ooo, yes please."

When we walked out into the hallway I saw Riker coming out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist. I looked over and saw Kat turn her head away from his direction. He turned and looked at us, his face fell when he saw Kat avoiding looking at him. I waited until he walked into his room to ask Kat, "What was that about?"
We had closed the door to the bathroom for some privacy.
"What was what about?" She looked genuinely confused.
"You. Not looking at Riker. Him getting upset looking at you?"
"I don't know. Maybe it's his time of the month," she joked. I knew there was something going on, but I didn't want to push her. The subject seemed a little touchy. Besides she started getting undressed and I kinda forgot what I...was.....thinki.........

The shower was good, but there was no funny business. Which I was kinda disappointed about. I was now sitting in my bed watching Kat get dressed. I'm so lucky
"Are you looking forward to your birthday tomorrow?" She asked, bringing my attention to her face.
"Yeah, kinda. I'm going to be 20. No longer a teenager. That's gonna make me feel old. Especially when my girlfriends only 17." I got up and wrapped my arms around her waist from behind.
"It's only a three year difference Ross."
"I know it's not that much, but at the moment it might seem a little strange to people."
"It doesn't matter what people think. All that matters it what you think." She turned around and looked me in the eyes.
"I think..... I don't care what people think." I came to the conclusion it shouldn't matter what people think. I love her, she loves me, and my family approves that's all I need.
"Good. I don't care either, but you're in the spotlight more than me. So that's a lot bigger for you to say. Actually I'm not in the spotlight at all hehe."

"Is that a bad thing? Do you want to be in the spotlight?" I was a little worried now. I knew she loved me, that was obvious, but was she also using me for fame?
"I know what you're thinking." She broke me from my thoughts.
"What?" I tried playing dumb
"You're trying to figure out if I'm using you." She looked sad.
"No. I know you'd never do that. But it is a perk that comes with dating me, I was just wondering if you were trying to milk it a little." I may have just put my foot in my mouth.
"Wow, you're such a dude. Haha, I'm not trying to do that, just so you're clear." She was clearly a little ticked but she was such an amazing girl that she completely understood how I thought, and didn't get mad when I said something stupid.
"I'm so lucky to have you." I pulled her in closer. I never wanted to let her go.
"And I, you. But I'm tired. And you know I get heyfever when I wake up too tired." She reminded me.

"Right. I keep forgetting. C'mon, the sleepy time she comes." She quickly leaned up and kissed me deeply.
"What was that for?" I asked, taken by surprise.
"For the quote, I've taught you well." I rolled my eyes.
"We don't wanna go anywhere with you mellonhead," I said trying to sound female.
"Well you're a tall drink of water, and I just love moostuuuure," she finished off for me. We both broke out laughing and fell onto my bed.

"I never thought I'd find anyone like you, let alone anyone who would get in on my stupid little jokes and actually like them." I loved it when she was emotional and open with her feelings.
"How can I not? It makes me feel closer to you. Besides they're actually pretty funny." I kissed her forehead, then moved to her lips. We made out for a minute before she pulled away.
"As much as I hate to say it, no." she told me.
"Huh?" I asked.
"No sex tonight...... It'll make tomorrow so much better." She whispered sexually.
"Why did you do that? Now little Ross is excited." I looked down at my crotch. She just giggled, gave me a quick kiss, and settled into bed.
