I'm sure the day will come when I can finally breathe freely. All I have to do now is wait and believe in His plan. We must never become impatient. All can wait.

Finally, Papa is now in prison and he was sentenced to 20 years in prison. Meanwhile, the other two men was still nowhere to be found, kaya kinakabahan pa rin ako at hindi pa rin ako dapat mapanatag.

Jainx held my hand softly.

"I will find them, as soon as possible." he assured me.

Bumuntonghininga ako at marahang yumakap sa kanya.

"Thank you so much for your help, Jainx."

He smiled. "It's nothing, Verlyian. I'm doing this because I have respect for you, and I love you so much."

Hindi ako nakasagot sa kanya. Ngumiti lang siya sa'kin at marahang hinaplos ang buhok ko.

"You don't have to answer," ngumiti siya kahit alam kong bakas roon ang sakit sa mga mata niya.

Malalim akong bumuntonghininga at napatingin na lang sa kawalan. Kahit gustong gusto ko nang sagutin ang sinabi niyang iyon… wala pa rin ako sa sarili ko hanggang ngayon. Hindi pa rin ma proseso ng utak ko na nakulong na nga si Papa.

Mapapatawad ko ba siya? Ang sagot ko ay… hindi. Hindi ko alam. Ayoko… kahit na ama ko siya, pero hindi niya ako tinuring na tao… ginawa niya akong baboy, mas masahol pa sa baboy. Kaya… mapapatawad ko pa ba siya sa likod ng ginawa niya?

He just doesn't treat me like an animal, but he also puts me in a cage. Tinanggalan niya ako ng karapatang maging masaya, na magkaroon ng isang masayang buhay.

Kaya kung ano mang nakukuha ko ngayon, deserve ko ito. I deserved to be happy, I deserved all of my achievements in life. I deserved to achieve my dreams. And I shouldn't doubt about things that I can do.

The truth is… we can never really avoid doubting ourselves, it's like a part of our life. There's a moment when we used to tell ourselves if… "Can I really do it?" But we're not asking ourselves if… "I can do it, right?"

That is the most important thing I have learned and applied in my life. Never question ourselves, since the truth is that we are capable of achieving our goals. We shouldn't merely try it; we must actually do it.

"Where are you going, Jainx?" I asked him.

Lumingon siya sa'kin. "Diyan lang sa tabi,"

I saw him hiding something behind his back. Sinubukan ko iyong tignan pero agad siyang lumayo sa'kin.

"Ano 'yan?"

Umiling siya. "Wala, may bibilhin lang ako. Uhm, just call me if you need anything."

"Ano muna 'yang nasa kamay mo?" taas kilay kong tanong sa kanya.

"Wala, Verlyian. Aalis muna ako, okay? Mag iingat ka rito…"

Pinanliitan ko siya ng mga mata. "Saan ka muna pupunta?"

Tinignan ko siya sa mga mata niya, alam ko kapag nagsasabi siya ng totoo o hindi. Kaya nang tignan ko siya, agad siyang nag iwas ng tingin sa'kin. I then smirked, he's really lying.

I pouted. "You're lying,"

"Mahal kita,"

Inirapan ko lang siya.

He then chuckled. "Take care always, love…"

"Love…" I scoffed at him.

He's calling me love or baby sometimes and I know, he's not pressuring me. Nasasabi niya lang iyon, dahil siguro, nadadala siya sa emosyon niya.
