I remember my old self before, I was still naive, and very immature— though I cannot say if I'm still immature or what. I just noticed that… something really huge changed my whole perspective.

I'm not like this before. I easily cry over small things, I get easily insecure. But I overcame all of these because of this one person, and that person was Jainx. He taught me so many things that I almost can't live without him right now.

I'm wearing a white dress with a slit on the right side as I sipped on my wine, while staring at the beautiful sea, and while at the yacht.

It's our first monthsary as a couple right now. Akala ko, simpleng date lang ang gagawin niya para sa'kin… but, what would I expect from Jainx? He's always like this. He's a grand person, and he's always full of surprises.

"It's beautiful, right?" he asked me, nilagay niya agad ang kamay niya sa beywang ko.

A simple gesture from him can make me fall harder for him.

"Yes, the sea was really beautiful."

"No, I mean, you. You're really beautiful, right?" he said.

My both cheeks blushed with that. "Bolero!"

"I want you to be more confident that you're beautiful. Can you say it on your own?"

I sighed. "I'm really beautiful,"

Then he gave a peck on my lips, the reason why my eyes widened in shock.

"That's right. That's my baby…" he whispered.

I bit my lower lip. "Stop… kinikilig ako."

Lumapit siya kalaunan sa'kin at kiniliti ang beywang ko kaya agad akong tumakbo palayo sa kanya. Hinabol niya naman ako pabalik, at nang mahabol niya ako, agad kong hinarang ang kamay ko sa beywang ko.

"Nasasanay ka na mas'yado, ha!" sabi ko sabay sinamaan siya ng tingin.

While staring at Jainx and I, having fun while tickling each other, another thought came to my mind.

This is what I want. To be literally free from my cage, to have freedom with Jainx. To love him wholeheartedly and passionately. To be with him for the rest of my life.

"Hmm, anong iniisip mo?" napansin niya yatang bigla akong natahimik.

"I just want to have a life like this. Where I can escape reality."

Kahit na gaano ko mang ka ayaw na manirahan sa reyalidad, alam kong wala rin naman akong magagawa roon. Because, in reality, there's your real life. In reality, you can be sad or hurt and happy at the same time. While living in a fantasy is like… walking in paradise with the person whom I love.

"We can never escape reality because that's where we should belong," he whispered.

Sa kalagitnaan ng katahimikan sa aming dalawa, nagulat ako nang maramdaman kong may sinuot siyang singsing sa daliri ko nang hindi nagpapaalam sa'kin!

"Jainx…"

He chuckled. "I'm giving you a ring, as a promise that I will be here at your side no matter what happens."

I pouted. "T-Talaga?"

"Whenever you're facing a problem, it's my problem too now. Do you understand? And… I don't want you to face your problems alone, because you have me here by your side."

Biglang lumandas ang luha sa mga mata ko, hindi dahil sa sakit, kundi dahil sa sobrang kasiyahang nararamdaman na natatamasa ko lang sa tuwing kasama ko siya. Tumango ako kalaunan sa kanya.
