I felt like I'd been walking for hours. The Doctor had taken me to this enchanted forest on another planet and I didn't know where I was going, it felt never ending. We got lost, she wandered off somewhere and when I looked back, I was alone. I hated when she did this, it seemed to me more than ever that she just wanted me gone, she would go off with Yaz or be busy, she didn't even talk to me anymore and it was hurtful. I sit down on the ground, as I take a deep breath, I stare up at the sky, it was so beautiful, a deep blue with the most amazing stars I'd ever seen. "I miss you." I whispered up to the sky, as I felt this crushing feeling inside my chest. I didn't want to be left here, but I just felt abandoned, she really left me this time. "Y/n? Oh, there you are." She walked across to me, as I look away. "Hi, Doctor." I stand up, "Come on, the TARDIS is just this way." She turned away from me, as we both walk back toward the TARDIS in silence. "Do you hate me?" I stopped, as she turned back. "What did you just say?" I cross my arms, "Why don't you talk to me? You find any moment possible to leave me, you don't care. If you don't want me here, just let me go home." Her eyes softened, "I- I'm sorry. I've just- it's nothing. I'm being stupid." I ran a hand over my hair, "Just tell me what it is, Doctor." She leaned against the TARDIS doors. "I have- it's just a crush. I have a crush on you and I thought if I was mean- maybe you'd want to try a bit more."

"You- hang on. You were being mean to me on purpose because you think that's going to make me like you?" She looked down, "Doctor, that's absolutely ridiculous. Not to mention, it isn't how that works. If you want to show me your feelings, make a bit more of an effort, the whole treat them mean to keep them keen isn't a thing." She looked quite disappointed. "Oh." I bite my lip, "You fancy me?" She nodded, "Why didn't you just tell me that?" She shrugged, "I thought you'd be disgusted." She mumbled, "Doctor- why would I ever be disgusted? I love women. And I have an attraction to them too. It isn't disgusting at all." She smiled, almost hopefully. "Next time, just be honest." I was relieved that I wasn't just overthinking, but I had no idea she had a crush on me, it wasn't what I expected. "Will you stay?" We both walk inside together, as I close the door. "Of course I will, I'm not going anywhere." I smiled slightly, as she turned to the console. "Onwards." I nodded, as we took off once again. Suddenly, the lights began to flash red, alarms going off. "Doctor!" I shouted, as two shadow like creatures grab onto my arms, a hand around my throat as I felt the air being taken from my lungs. "Get away from her!" She screamed, as they growled in response. My eyes rolled back, as the TARDIS seemed to jolt forward, the door swings open and they are sucked out into the space. I talk to my knees, as I choked on a breath as it released me. "Oh my god, y/n." She pulled me into her arms as I try to get my breathing back to normal.

"I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry." She whispered, as she grabbed me tighter, I held onto her shoulders as I lean into her. "I'm okay." My voice was strained, as I sit up a little. "I thought- y/n.. I was-" I shake my head. "Look at me. I'm fine, I'm okay. Doctor, it's okay." I hug her tightly, as she squeezed me gently. "I love you, do you hear me?" I whispered, "I love you more." She told me, as I ran a hand through her blonde hair. "I'm right here. Promise."

"Promise."
