"I will never tell you anything."

I screamed out, as Rassilon stunned me with his cane as the electricity ran through my body. I dropped to my knees, as I try to catch my breath. "You answer to me, girl. And you answer good. Tell me where he is." He snapped, as I take a shaky breath. "I'll never tell you where he is. I'll die before I let that happen." I shiver, as the pain radiates through my nerves. He slapped me hard in the face, his stone ring catching my eye as I flinched. The rope around my wrists tugging against the skin, as I look up. He grabbed my face, as he made me look at him. "Then you've chosen to die." I glared into his eyes, "You are in love with this Timelord." I look away, "You're wrong." He chuckled darkly, "So why do you defend him so easily? If that is not love?" I had told myself for years that it was just a crush, but my heart bled for him and I couldn't deny it. "I will never tell you a thing about the Doctor. If you're so clever, shouldn't you know where he is?" He turned back to me, "I'm sure he'll soon return once he realises his precious human is in mortal danger." I felt the blood trickle down my face, as I look up into the stain glasses ceiling, I could hear my heart beating as my breathing became slow. "My lord, we have a visitor." I looked up, as the Doctor walked inside. "Ah, isn't this quite the surprise Doctor." He was furious, I could see it in his eyes. "What is the meaning of this, Rassilon?" He glared, as I watched them both. "It's simply a distraction, Doctor."

"Torturing humans isn't exactly my style." He looked down at me, before he turned back toward Rassilon. "The human was just collateral damage, Doctor. I'm sure you won't mind." He took a breath. "Do what you want. She isn't my responsibility anymore." My heart dropped, I couldn't believe he was leaving me here. "I see. Isn't that just brilliant." He turned toward me, "So you won't mind if I kill her?" The doctors face filled with anger once again. "I don't tolerate murder, Rassilon. And it isn't what we stand for. It isn't who I stand for." I pull the ropes from my arms, before I get free and I ran out of there before they could do anything even worse to me. My body felt like it was on fire, it was burning me out. It was all a lie, he used me. To get back here. "Y/n." I heard him calling my name, as I hide behind the wall. "Please believe me. I had to pretend I didn't care about you- I had to." I felt the tears fall down my face as I lean against the wall. "Let me help you. I know you're in pain- I can see it in your face. Let me heal you.. let me help." I didn't trust a word he said to me, he broke whatever he promised. The past five years had been a lie. I slowly walk out, as he looked across at me. "Y/n-" I step back, "Get away from me." I whispered, as he stopped. "You have to believe me. I'd never leave you here- I would never ever leave you alone.. I- I care about you. More than you understand." I held back my tears, "I'm not your responsibility anymore, Doctor." My words shook in my throat.

"I'm begging you. Please don't do this. Let me heal you." I hesitated, before I ran into his arms as he held me close to his chest. It was so soft and gentle, the way he held me to him. "I love you so much. I'm so sorry." He whispered, I sobbed as he ran his hand through my hair. "Please don't leave me." His voice shook, as I grip onto his back, desperately. "I couldn't if I tried." I felt weak, as my knees gave out and he pulled me onto his lap. "It's okay. I've got you. You're safe." He cupped my face, as my vision faded to black.

When I woke up, I was inside the TARDIS. I looked around, very confused as the Doctor looked across at me. "Hey." I sit up, "Hi, Doctor." I frowned, as I rub my head. "Did we- what happened?" He sighed, "You were about to die, so I used my regeneration energy to heal you." I was a bit shocked. "Why would you do that? Are you insane?" He looked down, "I have a duty of care." My heart dropped, as it hit me. He did love me. And I could see it in his face. "Doctor?" He turned back, "Yeah?"

"I love you too."
