The rain poured as thunder and lightening took over the sky. The Doctor had dropped me back home after we had a huge fight, he basically screamed at me and I stormed out. I was sobbing, as I ran to my flat and slammed the door. I fell against the door, as I cried my heart out. I never meant for it to get this far, I just wanted him to love me. "Somethings wrong." I frowned, when I suddenly caught something in the corner of the room. I slowly turn, when I see a Weeping Angel. "Oh my god." I whispered, I wipe the tears back as I tried not to blink, I pull off my jacket as I didn't dare look away from it. "I already know what you are. I'm not afraid of you." I whispered, as I quickly got out of the door and I ran, I knew it was following me and I had to find the doctor before it was too late. The Angel had followed me outside, it was so close to me now. I keep my eyes on it, the rain had stopped finally and I could see it clearly. I step back, "I need you, Doctor. Please, I need you." I whispered, I felt someone grab my hand tightly, locking their fingers in mine. "I've got you." He whispered, his eyes also on the Angel. He pointed the screwdriver to the Angel, as it disappeared. "What did you do?" He looked at me. "It's not completely gone, just frozen. Not for long. We need to go. Now." He pulled me along, as we ran back toward the TARDIS. "Doctor." I whispered, I suddenly stopped as he looked at me, "Y/n. I need you to stay calm. Just look at me."
"Doctor, tell me. What is it?" I could feel the grip on the back of my shirt, I already knew that it got me. "Let her go. I will not hesitate to rein Hell on you all." He kept his eyes on the Angel, as I felt the tears on my face. "It's fun." A dark voice spoke out, the Angel. "I'm warning you. You know who I am." He growled, he didn't let go of my hand for a second. "The pain.. is fun. And you, Doctor.. you love this human. Why?" I look at his eyes, as I could see the hurt inside his. "She's all I have left." His voice broke, as I squeeze his hand. "We shall take her." It sent shivers down my spine, as I grip his wrist tightly, I couldn't let him go. I was terrified to let him go. "I won't ask again." He glared at the Angel, when it suddenly teleported and disappeared. I dropped to the ground, as he pulled me close to him. I wrap my arms around his neck as he held me tightly in his arms. "I've got you, you're safe." He whispered, I look back into the sky. "Where did it go? Why did it just leave?" I look at him, "It's not over yet, y/n. They'll be back, next time I might not be able to stop them." I take a breath, as he pulled me along to the TARDIS. He was upset, I could tell it in his face. I stop, as he looked at me. "Doctor, the Angel.. it said that you loved me. Why would it say that?" He sighed, "Do we have to do this now?" I cross my arms, "Tell me the truth, Doctor." He looked down, almost ashamed.
"Fine." I turn and I began to walk away, he grabbed my arm. "Please don't go." He wrapped his arms around me from behind, as I frowned, confused almost. "Doctor, just tell me." I lean into his chest, "I can't." He whispered, I nodded. "Just tell me this. Was that Angel lying?" He shook his head. "I knew it." He seemed relieved in a way, but also confused. "Come on, you big idiot." I take his hand, before we head off towards the TARDIS, maybe this time we could actually figure this out and find a way to make it, in a new way.
I was just glad I knew the truth.
