I can't believe we've even made it this far. It's so crazy. Life has been a huge roller coaster, and marriage isn't easy, let me tell you. Having kids isn't all that easy either. You have to sacrifice a lot, and that's what we did. I sacrificed the band after Shawn. I just couldn't tour and everything with them all, and on top of that, Laney's working. We love our kids more than anything, and we wouldn't trade them for the world. They've all grown so fast! Trent is seven, Kendall is six, and Shawn is three. We decided to take a little break between Kendall and Shawn.

I spent most of the day playing with the kids in the studio. They made a song for Laney, and it was so cute. Since Kendall and Trent are out of school for the summer, they've been home all day.

I was just cleaning up the kids' playroom when my phone started ringing. It was Laney, of course. She always calls when she's at work. It's like she doesn't trust me or something, weird, right?

"Babe, I got off work early, and Shawn wants to go to the park, so make sure everyone is ready when I get home. Love you!"

"Already ahead of you, Lane," I assured. "Should I hook Koda up? Or do you not want to take him?"

"Just hook him up, I'll take him probably."

"Alright! See you in a bit. Love you too."

"Okay kids! Everyone better get shoes on and be dressed! Mom's gonna be home in a couple minutes, and we're going to the park!" I hollered through the house.

"Can I wear my pretty dress, Daddy?" Kendall asked.

"Sure sweetie, but don't cry when it gets all dirty," I chuckled. I'm such a great father.

"Shawn, go get me your shoes, buddy." I instructed. He took off with his tiny legs and ran for the stairs. He tripped over the rug, and with my luck, he started crying. I rushed over to pick him up and saw that there was blood. I tried to find out where it was coming from.

"Where does it hurt, Shawn?"

"Teeth," he cried. I sat him up on my lap and checked inside his mouth, where, of course, there was a tooth missing.

"Trent, can you get me a wash cloth please!"

"Sure, Dad," he answered before running off to the bathroom. He brought me a wet cloth and I cleaned up all the blood. He had stopped crying by then, but we couldn't find the missing tooth.

"Shit," I cursed under my breath. I looked all over by the stairs, and I couldn't find it.

"Don't say bad words, Daddy," Kendall scolded. I heard the front door open and Laney came in.

"Who's saying bad words?" She asked jokingly. Kendall and Trent both ran over to her and jumped into her arms. She looked over at Shawn with a worried expression.

"He just fell. He's fine now, but we can't find the tooth he knocked out," I explained.

"Let me see where you lost a tooth," she worriedly said. He opened his mouth wide and showed her his missing tooth. She didn't seem too worried after he showed her, because it was a baby tooth. He was upset that the tooth fairy wouldn't be able to give him money without a tooth, but Laney assured he would still get some money.

"Do you still want to go to the park? I will stay home with you if you don't want to," I told Shawn.

"No! I want to go," he excitedly said. We finished getting everyone ready, even Koda, and then Laney changed out of her scrubs from work. She got a job at a nearby hospital awhile back.

"Alright Stromberg crew, time to load up," Laney shouted happily at the kids. One by one they hurried out the door to the car. Koda had to sit on the floor in the back since all the seats were occupied.
