CHAPTER FOURTEEN
holiday jitters.

Rounding near Hwa Young's Goshiwon, Renjun pulled up to the sidewalk closest to the door. He looked out of her window, grimacing under his breath. "I promise next weekend, we'll look into a few houses,"

Hwa Young smiled gently. She glanced to her left, and saw how his lips were pursed in an unsatisfactory way. "Okay," She replied, patting his hand that sat atop the gear shift. Instantly, the ghosts of his knuckles returned to his natural color. "I'll be going,"

Unbuckling her seat belt, Hwa Young opened her passenger door, and began to slide out of her seat.

Before she could escape the warmth of his car, Renjun's reluctant hand finally found the courage to hold hers— reeling her attention backwards.

"Sweetheart," He called softly, causing the woman to glance over her shoulder.

Her left brow raised in question."Yeah," She replied almost too quickly for her liking. Coughing from her abrupt answer and realization, Hwa Young turned forward— facing the building of her home. Cheeks bright red with embarrassment, the ravenette cleared her throat. "I mean that's not my name but okay," She clarified, more for herself however.

If Renjun was in his right mind, he would have chuckled at her embarrassed nature.

However, his heart was too full to even register the shyness of the woman. "Are you going to take that job?" He asked seriously, voice laced with concern.

Hwa Young removed herself from his grasp, and turned on her heels promptly. In the next second, she was face to face to her fiancée. And as hard as she stared at his wavering eyes, she couldn't read any bit of him.
