CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR
good- great news.

Renjun, who had already cleaned up and changed beforehand, stood outside of his bedroom— knocking rampantly on the door. "Doll, you ready? Seriously, you're probably gonna look stunning, so you don't really have to put on make up. You already look as beautiful.." His words died on his tongue as the door swung open, revealing Hwa Young in the outfit he chose for her. "...as a rose," He finished his sentence, his voice just above a whisper— being so frazzled by her appearance.

His heart fluttered.

He could feel his breath lodge in his throat as his eyes roamed slowly down her figure. It graced over her natural makeup, and how her eyes looked up at him so innocently through her lashes. Then his orbs traveled to her pink blouse, where right on top sat the gold heart locket he had gotten her a few weeks ago. Then it moved to her hips where her blouse ended and her white pencil skirt started— hugging the curve of her shape. And finally, his eyes cascaded down to her feet, where a new pair of heels adorned them— it easily reflecting the light of the hallway.

Nervous under his intense gaze, the woman fiddled with her purse. "Do I clean up well?" She asked hesitantly— snapping Renjun out of his hypnotized trance.

He shook his head quickly, and regained his composure- clearing his throat as his head whipped up to look her in the eyes. "Very well," He coughed. "You look gorgeous as always,"

Hwa Young felt her cheeks light up in flames— darkening the blush she had already put on. "You're just buttering me up because you made me spend the whole weekend with you," She teased, masking her flustered nature with a roll of her eyes.

Renjun bit down on his bottom lip— preventing his smile from growing any larger. However, as hard as his teeth sunk into the flesh, his grin still curved up boyishly. "You're not complaining," He cooed, sticking out his hand.
