CHAPTER EIGHTEEN
flashbacks for breakfast.

As if bitterly, Hwa Young stirred her bowl of plain cheerios and cut strawberries— sloshing around the contents whilst Renjun had already begun to pour himself his second bowl. "When you said you were making breakfast, I didn't expect a two step meal," The ravenette joked teasingly, glancing up from her bowl to the male.

He simply rolled his eyes at her playful remark, and scooped up a heaping of the food he worshiped as if it was a Michelin star meal. "Making cereal is not just two steps, it's four," Renjun retorted before bringing his spoon to his mouth.

He chewed dramatically, and praised the cereal as a proud parent to a child. Hwa Young's remembered all the times he had come over to her home in high school. He'd wake up extra early, walk the distance between their homes, just so he could eat her cereal.

Honestly, the woman has never met someone so in love with the food that every time she was at the grocery store, the cereal aisle always brought nostalgia of Huang Renjun.

Dismissing her reminiscent mood, she lifted a brow, challenging him to explain. "Oh, really?"

"Yes, really," He deadpanned, pointing his spoon at her in offenses. "It's A. get items a.k.a bowl, cereal, milk and a spoon, B. pour cereal, C. pour milk, D. add fruits," The male spoke passionately. It was as if he was no longer in sweats and a shirt, but a suit and tie, and his messy bed hair was neatly gelled back like he was presenting some project at his office.

Hwa Young stuck her tongue out in disgust. Although Renjun had such an obsession with cereal, the boy preferred the healthier options. Which, Hwa Young could wholeheartedly disagree with. "You're too healthy," She complained blatantly.
