"What's the time?" Her voice startles me as I was distracted with my phone, sitting on the bed just beside her. I show her my phone clock and she looks at me after processing the time in her mind. "I'm hungry." She sits up on the bed.

"I'll order the food here." She nods. "What do you want?" She tells me her menu and I order it.

"I'll go to the bathroom." She informs me before getting off the bed and I keep looking at her until she gets out of my sight.

It's been ten minutes and the food arrives but she hasn't come out of the bathroom yet. "Iris," I call out her name, getting worried and she responds me, relieving me.

She gets out of the bathroom after few seconds and joins me to sit on the chair beside me. "Iris," I call for her attention and she looks at me. "Do you want to stay here?"

"What?"

"Do you want to go back to New York right now?" I ask her because I'm pretty sure she would be thinking about him the whole time we'll be here because he stayed in this hotel and it will affect her more if she keeps thinking about this while we stay here.

"Of course." She speaks the expected while taking a bite of her food.

"So, I asked my grandma to book a flight to New York. We'll be leaving after few hours." I tell her while taking a bite of my food.

"Are you serious?" She puts her food on the table in front of us and looks at me with shock and surprise. I nod. "How did she accept? Did you tell her about him?" She gets anxious and I shake my head, denying it.

"I just pleaded her saying that it was feeling too suffocated here and I kind of blackmailed her. I obviously wouldn't tell about that jerk to her." I continue to feed myself and look at her. She smiles with relief.

"Thank you, Austin." She looks at me with happiness which makes me happy. "I was actually worried about how to stay here for the rest of the days knowing that he stayed just two floors down but thank god, we're going to leave." She exhales with relief and I smile at her.

"We'll be leaving at one. The flight is at four so let's eat soon and we'll pack out bags, check out and roam around the place for a while before heading to the airport." She nods and gives her attention to the food.

She's happy. I'm happy.

"But what if I wanted to stay?" She questions me after few seconds and I look at her.

"I would've asked grandma to cancel our tickets." I shrug.

She smiles. I smile.

It had been two days since we returned from Bali. We rarely got to spend time with each other during day time due to our work schedules but the nights we spent together were getting normal. We're getting less awkward and comfortable with each other's presence each day.

I close all the files that were on my table desk after studying them. All the company's debts were cleared on the first day of our marriage and the company's status had improved a lot. Our new strategies were already implemented as planned and I'll have to admit that the assigned director had done a good job in my absence even though I still had to work overtime as I had a lot of work to do to make our new plans succeed.
