The Storage Room

Me either." I quickly responded, "But it's not surprising, considering they didn't tell me any of this."

Mirabel nodded, deep in thought. We both finished our food in silence as we stared out into the city.

"What if you're mom makes you leave again?" Mirabel asked breaking the silence.

"The most I can do is argue against it." I said laughing at it although it wasn't funny.

"Alright that's enough negativity, let's go back inside and talk about not depressing things."

I laughed at her comment and followed her back into her room through the window.

Mirabel and I had lost track of time as we just sat in her room chatting. We only realized when we heard a knock at the door.

"Come in." Mirabel and I said in sync and the door opened.

"Y/N, be ready to go in like ten minutes. I just need to do one thing before we leave." Ben said.

"Dang, okay." I said disappointedly.

As soon as Ben left I was about to continue my conversation with Mirabel, when someone rushed into the room and grabbed me. They quickly exited the room dragging me behind them. Unfortunately I couldn't see them with the position I was in.

I was pulled into a room that was pitch black,

"Uhhhmmm..." I started but then a light bulb was turned on causing me to have to refocus my eyes.

I looked down to block my eyes from the sudden light. The room I was in seemed to be a small storage room, I saw boxes with labels stacked on shelves. Then I looked up to see the person,

"Camilo?" I said not really surprised.

"Sorry I didn't want to talk to you while Mirabel was there so..." He tried to explain himself.

"So you kidnapped me?"

"Yea-" he almost agreed, "What no!?"

I could tell he was getting flustered, I tried to hide my smile, but miserably failed. He noticed and I saw a pout form on his face.

I swear I think I died right there.

"You know I don't blame you for what happened earlier?" I told him.

"Well yeah- kind of, but I needed to say something else."

He noticed I was still smiling at him being all flustered.

Suddenly he leaned in closer to me for a reason unbeknownst to me. His whole aura changed in seconds. I felt my back press up against the wall. He reached his arm out right beside my head and shifted his weight onto it. Leaving his face inches away from mine.

I felt my face heating up,

"Ca- Camilo?" I stumbled for words, "What are you doing?"

I saw a satisfied grin on his face,

"What do you mean, hermosa?" He said playing dumb.

My face was now burning and my heart felt like it might explode,

"Are you getting shy on me Y/N?" He said when I didn't respond.

"Camilo..."

"That's my name." He smirked as I frowned in fake annoyance.

I wasn't sure what to do in this moment,

"Y/N! Where are you we gotta go!" I heard my uncle call out from somewhere in the house.

I was saved, I think...

"Oh, looks like you have to go." He said before opening the door he was blocking me from just a second ago.

He walked out of the room after me, I was gonna just walk away but that didn't feel right.

I had only taken a couple steps before whipping back around. He looked at me in surprise as I walked back towards him.

Camilo POV

After I walked out of the storage room I leaned back onto the wall next to the door, as I watched Y/N walk away.

Then suddenly she turned around and started back towards me. When she was in right in front of me she stopped. I raised eyebrow in confusion of the girl's actions.

She pulled me forward and wrapped her arms around my waist. Before I could react she let go of me and gave me a quick kiss on the cheek, causing my face to heat up slightly.

She waved goodbye to me before making her way downstairs to find her uncle.

As she disappeared from my view, out of the corner of my eye I saw someone approach.

"Camilo! Will you stop randomly taking Y/N and disappearing?!" Mirabel said waving her hands around.

"No." I responded with a guilty grin.

Mirabel groaned before running over to where Y/N had just left. I assume she just went to say goodbye to Y/N before she left. When I went to turn towards my room I saw Antonio.

"Are you dating Y/N?" He asked.

"What? Of course not..." I laughed it off.

"Yeah you're not dating her, for now." Dolores said appearing behind me.

"Holy- Dolores when did you get here." I said startled by the sudden appearance of both of my siblings.

"Camilo when I told you to be direct with her I didn't mean to scare her." Dolores told me with an amused expression.

"Jeez, can't I get any privacy in this house..." I muttered under my breath knowing Dolores would hear it.

I saw her roll her eyes at my statement.

I caught sight of Mirabel coming back up the stairs, she paused when she saw the three of us.

"We're having dinner." She told us, "Also do you know where Isabela is I can't find her."

I just shrugged at Mirabel, although I already knew my sister would tell Mirabel where Isabela was. I walked past Mirabel but as I walked downstairs I felt a wave of exhaustion pass over me.

Brushing it off as just not getting enough sleep I continued, well at least until my vision went black.
