What's Wrong?

Y/N POV
Me and my uncle had arrived back at his house without incident. My uncle made food for us, then after we ate it had gotten pretty late so we went to sleep.

Sun light filtered through my window and disturbed my sleep. I groggily got up and checked the time. 7:56 AM. Reluctantly I started to get up. When I removed my blanket from my body a chill rushed over my body.

It was cold. I was confused because just the day before it had been sunny.

I thought for a moment, was something wrong at the Casita. I shook the thought from my mind, Pepa could just be in a bad mood who knows? That's what I told myself at least as I got ready for the day.

When I went into the kitchen I swear I was freezing, my hair was wet from the shower and a window was open. My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a door opening.

I saw my uncle walk out of his room with a blanket still wrapped around his body.

"Ben, why is it so cold? Is it Pepa?" I asked him, grabbing out a pan and eggs to make breakfast.

"I assume, she must be worried about something. But she was fine when I talked to her yesterday..." Ben responded making me realize we were in the same boat of oblivion.

"Yeah, anyways want eggs?" I asked him.

"Yeah, thanks." He sat down.

It didn't take long for me to finish cooking, and surprisingly I didn't burn it. Eggs were about the only I could cook.

As we were eating someone knocked on the front door.

"I'll get it." Ben got up, leaving the blanket he just had draped over his shoulders on the chair.

I heard the door open,

"Mirabel? What are you doing here so early?" I heard my uncle ask.

I paused from eating and focused my attention on the conversation happening in the other room.

"Well, you probably already noticed tia Pepa is kind of freaking out right now. So I thought I should tell you guys why, I was going to last night but I didn't want to bother you..." I made my way to the other room as Mirabel spoke.

"Is Pepa okay?" Ben asked Mirabel as I stood beside him.

"Yeah she's just worried about Camilo."

"What's wrong with Camilo?!" I blurted out with worry.

"Well he's sorta, kinda, really sick. But don't worry." Mirabel said trying not to worry me.

"Can't Julieta just, I don't know heal him?"

"She doesn't like to heal people when they're sick with like fevers and stuff. She wants them to be able to build up a better immune system so they don't get sick again." Mirabel explained.

As I thought about it I realized that did make sense.

"So what even happened?" Ben asked.

"To be honest, I don't really know, one moment he was normal and then the next he randomly blacked out." Mirabel shrugged, "He keeps saying he's fine but we all know he's lying."

Worry clouded my mind, why did he black out? That's not a normal thing to happen. Especially not when your family is literally magical and stuff.

Mirabel noticed my look of worry, "Do you wanna come see him..?"

I looked towards Ben,

"Just go." Thats all he needed to say for me to grab my bag and rush out the door and take Mirabel with me.
