"UA student Denki Kaminari, who has been missing for the past year, was returned safely to his family some time last night. He was allegedly kidnapped by Villains, and even though it's just an allegation, I'm inclined to believe it, as UA has had a student kidnapped before. After two students being kidnapped, you have to wonder... is it really safe to let your children attend UA? More on that story at 7."

Kaminari had been kidnapped by the League of Villains after they realized that he may be useful to them.

And now that he had been saved, he... wasn't the same.

It was like the League had completely brainwashed him.

For now, not knowing what else to do, they had locked Kaminari in his dorm room.

There was one person who was determined to help Kaminari, though.

Midoriya was sure he could find some way to undo the indoctrination.

Midoriya opened the door to Kaminari's dorm room, taking a deep breath to prepare himself. He'd been trying to help Kaminari for a month, but nothing had been working....

He refused to give up, though.

He entered the room, and closed the door behind him.

"Good morning, Kaminari!" He happily said. "How did you sleep last night?"

"I don't feel like talking to a Hero today." Kaminari responded, hatefully uttering the word 'Hero'.

"Well, lucky for you, I'm not a Hero." Midoriya responded. "Even though I have my provisional license, I'm still just a student! So you aren't talking to a Hero, not really."

"...yeah, whatever, just get out." Kaminari said.

"You know... your friends are really worried about you." Midoriya told Kaminari, sitting down on the bed beside him. "Yaomomo, Kirishima, Jirou, Ashido, Sero, Mineta... even Kacchan, they're all worried for you."

"No they're not." Kaminari coldly responded. "They didn't do anything to try and save me... nobody did. No matter how desperately I screamed for someone to save me... nobody came to help." He sadly said. "Everyone... abandoned me."

"That's not true, Kaminari..." Midoriya said. "We were trying our best to rescue you, I swear... due to how serious this mission was, none of us students were allowed to help, but if we were, you would've seen just how much you matter to us all..." he explained, a sad smile on his face. "Back at the dorms, we were getting news about the operation... when we had heard the mission was successful and you were returned safely, almost everyone was crying out of pure happiness and relief that you were safe."

"SHUT IT WITH YOUR LIES!" Kaminari yelled, grabbing Midoriya's hand, and violently twisting it until-

An uncomfortable 'crack' sound came from Midoriya's wrist.

Suppressing a scream of pain, Midoriya left Kaminari's room.
