"Katsuki... I would never betray you, or your trust." You said, pulling your other hand away from Izuku and placing it on Katsuki's face. "I love you as w-"

Before you could finish your sentence, Izuku punched you in the back of the head.

"DID YOU NOT HEAR ME, DR. (L/N)?! I SAID YOU DON'T HAVE TO LIE TO HIM! JUST ADMIT YOU LOVE ME AND TELL HIM HE'LL BE STAYING HERE FOREVER!!" Izuku yelled.

"But that isn't true." You turned around to look at Izuku. "I don't love you, understand? Now please calm down, Izuku."

"...calm down...?" He asked, a blank expression on his face. "So you're just like everyone else. Calm down, Izuku... put down the knife, Izuku... I don't care about you, Izuku... what are you doing, Izuku... why does everybody always end up not caring about me?!" He angrily asked. "Uncle Kotaro never cared! He only took me in because it was in my mother's will! And cousin Tenko... Tenko hated his father! He should've known I was doing a good thing!"

While Izuku was ranting, you turned back to Katsuki, and whispered
"Go run and get help."

"Why me? Why not just let me deal with him?"

"You trust me, right, Katsuki?"

"...yes, but-"

"Then go. I'll be fine, I swear."

"I hate this, Dr. (L/N)." Izuku muttered. "I mean, I really hate this, Dr. (L/N). Everybody in the wold is against me... including you. Why is that...?"

"I'm not against you, Izuku!" You tried telling him. "Just because I-"

"Please just shut up." He demanded. "I'm really struggling with myself right now... I want to kill you, but I'm trying not to... I don't want to kill you." Izuku smiled. "I don't want to kill you! But I'm going to!"

"Wait, just-"

"No, be quiet. Be quiet, Dr. (L/N)." Izuku looked around. "By the way, do you know where Kacchan went? Looks like he disappeared... this whole situation probably reminded him of, you know." He smirked. "Probably off having one of those traumatic flashbacks of his. Like I said, if you choose him, you'd have to deal with that so often... and the slightest thing could send him spiralling back to not trusting anyone-"

"I know that." You told him. "I can live with that, and I could help him with it. Or did you forget I'm a therapist?"

"I didn't forget, simply stating the fact that it'd be quite annoying to deal with." Izuku grabbed your hands again. "Dr. (L/N), I'm going to give you one final chance to make the right choice. Dr. (L/N), do you love me?"

"...no."

Izuku kicked you in the stomach, knocking you to the ground.

"I gave you a chance to say you love me. You said no." He stared down at you, complete hatred in his eyes despite still smiling. "You brought this upon yourself, Dr. (L/N)."
