Your Quirk was called Glowstick. You had a strange bioluminescent liquid in your muscles, so whenever you work out, your arms, legs, and other parts of your body will glow due to your muscles tearing. You've always hated it, since it draws unwanted attention towards you, and... making your body glow was all it did, so it was completely useless.

You put on your jacket and shoes, and opened the front door.

"Hey (Y/N)!" Tetsutetsu excitedly said when you opened the door. He was smiling widely and waving happily. "You ready for our run?" He was wearing an ugly headband, camo shorts, and a tanktop designed to look like a metal suit. He always wears the same thing, no matter the weather...

"Yeah, let's go!" You told him.

You met Tetsutetsu last fall, when he transferred to your school, and you two have have been friends ever since. Every evening, you two go for a run together (his suggestion, you didn't exactly have a say in it). Even if you don't like going for runs, it's nice spending time with him.

Halfway through the run, he asked you something.

"(Y/N), why are you still wearing that jacket? You know, I understood in the fall and winter and maybe the spring, but... it's summer, (Y/N)!"

"I-it's nothing, don't worry...!" You awkwardly insisted.

A detour caused you two to be out later than normal. It was dark out now.

"Shit-!" You whisper-yelled, noticing that the glow from your legs were showing through your pants.

"Huh? Something wrong, (Y/N)?" Tetsutetsu asked, slowing down.

"N-no, it's nothing! Let's keep going!" You told him.

"No, something seems off." He said. "You're not usually like this, (Y/N), are you ok?"

You hadn't told Tetsutetsu about your Quirk. He hadn't asked about it, so you didn't think it was necessary to tell him about it.

Tetsutetsu stopped running. You did too, and resigned yourself to the fact that he's gonna see it.... it's going to be a repeat of everything that happened with Yamino...

He's going to make fun of you, you're sure of it. This is going to end terribly. He's gonna spread rumours around school, you two aren't in the same class but whatever it'll still happen, and then the entire school will know about your stupid useless Quirk-!

"Oh. That looks cool!" He said, looking at your glowing calves. "Why were you making such a fuss about it? Does it hurt you or something?"

"Huh...?" It took you a moment to realize he wasn't making fun of you. "Um... n-no, it... it doesn't hurt. I just... didn't want you to see it..."

"Eh? Why not?" He asked. "Your legs are glowing, and that's all I can see, why wouldn't you want me to see it?"

"Well, um... I... I-I was worried you'd, uh, make fun of me for it..." you admitted.

"Wait really? You thought I was gonna make fun of you?" Tetsutetsu asked. "Pft, what kind of loser would make fun of his friend? C'mon, let's get going! We're already out later than we should be, we should get home as soon as we can!"
