I really like the idea for this chapter because I've always liked the idea of being small enough to be carried around in somebody's pocket-

On Earth, there are two "dominant" species.

They live in a separated society.

They kinda have to.

If they were to not be separated, there would be thousands of deaths every day.

There are Humans, which require little-to-no explanation...

And there are Giants, which are exactly the same as Humans, except for the fact that they're, well, giant.

Giants have existed as long as Humans have. Though, the two species have not always been at peace with each other. For the longest time, Giants would kill and eat Humans...
Humans lived in constant fear, always wondering if today would be their last.

And one day, something unheard of happened. A Giant fell in love with a Human. And that was the beginning of the peace between the two species.

Of course, the peace is fairly... unstable.
If one small thing happens... if even one thing goes wrong... the peace threatens to fall apart.

That unstable peace...
Is exactly why you're scared of Giants.

Today is your first day of high school.

It was a cold Spring morning. The snow was finally beginning to melt, and there was ice everywhere.

You're very scared.

Somehow, you had gotten into UA high school... which was a school for Giants.
So that means you're gonna have to go through the Giant's district, which is (as the name suggests) the part of the city where the Giants live. Everything is larger there. The cars, the sidewalks, the buildings, the storm drains, the people... the moment you set foot into that part of the city, your chance of dying will rise to at least 70%.

How'd you even get into that school?!
You didn't do very well in the entrance exams, in fact you had a hard time moving the pencil because it was much too big for you...
Did the staff think that having a Human attend would be good for publicity or something?

You slowly and carefully walked through the gigantic city, feeling very nervous.

One wrong move, and you die.

You've never been in this part of the city, with good reason.

It was strange to see Giants just going about their day like regular people. Getting ready for work, having breakfast at large cafés, rushing to school...

You were so small compared to them, you honestly felt like a bug.
