Speaking of Twisted Wonderland, um... I am absolutely in love with a literal octopus. So, things could be better.

Though, a lot of people didn't believe what you said. They all thought you were just making things up to avoid the unfortunate truth.

Even Shouto fucking Todoroki, the class conspiracy theorist, thought your theory was outlandish.

So, your "investigation" was going nowhere.

But then, Mina gave you some advice.

"Listen, (Y/N)... you didn't hear this from me, but..." She looked around, as if what she was about to say was super secret information. "Bakugou's body was found laying face-down, right? Well, this is just something I overheard, but... aparently, the injury he recieved was actually to the back of his head."

"Really?"

"Well, that's just something I overheard, I don't know for sure. Also, when he was found, you know how he was wearing his school uniform? Well, he wasn't wearing his blazer when they found him. And it wasn't found anywhere in his room, so... I dunno, just seems a bit suspicious to me. Oh, and one last thing... Midoriya's been hanging out on the roof of the dorms recently."

"Well they were... I think friends... maybe he's just having a tough time with all this."

"No, no this is clearly different. He's acting very strange recently. And I've noticed that whenever someone brings up Bakugou to him, he either changes the subject, or he ends the conversation as quickly as he can- rather coldly, might I add. If you want to know what's going on, I suggest you investigate him."

You didn't at all believe it was Midoriya, but even so you didn't see the harm in looking into his supposedly 'suspicious' behaviour.

"Hey Midoriya, can I talk to you for a second?" You asked him.

"Oh, hi (Y/N)!" He happily greeted you. "Yeah, sure! What do you want to talk about?"

"Um... well, you were friends with Bakugou, right?" You asked him.

"Oh, this is about Kacchan. Yeah, tragic that he's dead, but like... if he's dead, we should stop talking about him. He doesn't exist anymore, ok? I had nothing to do with it! HE DID THAT TO HIMSELF. HE WAS THE ONE WHO INVITED ME UP TO THE ROOF IN THE FIRST PLACE-!"

Wow. So it seems Mina's intel was right...

"What do you mean by that, Midoriya?"

"N-nothing! I-I'm sorry... with school, and the death, everything's just been so stressful recently..." He nervously told you. "Can you j-just leave me to my schoolwork now...?"

"...yeah, of course..." You told him.

You ended up going up to the roof later to see if that other thing Mina told you was true.

And boy oh boy you wish it wasn't.

You saw Midoriya on his knees, holding something close to his chest.

"Everything will be fine.... everything's going to be ok...!" He said to himself. "Sure, i almost confessed to accidentally killing Kacchan but it's fine! I-I doubt (Y/N) is going to piece it together, haha... HAHAHAHA-!" He broke down into almost insane-sounding laughter.

Yeah, it seems like it'd be better if you just got out of here...

"By the way, (Y/N)... I know you're there behind me."

"N... u-uhh... no you don't!!"

The last thing you remember from that night was Midoriya running towards you, and the pain of his fist piercing your stomach.
