Epilogue: Youngmin

Beep! Beep!

The city square was busy as usual. Quite a lot of cars were driving by, some stopping (most of which were taxis anyway), and there were just as much people filling up the square as everyday.

At a certain patio infront of a café, you, Denise, and Yunho are seated, waiting for someone in particular to appear, especially after he had failed to attend yet another wedding of one of his friends'.

"Woah! You guys're still here? Thank goodness! I thought you'd have already left without me!" Youngmin says as soon as he arrives, looking as if he hadn't repeated a mistake he said he wouldn't.

Last time, Denise almost beat him up the day after her wedding. You and Yunho had stopped her at that time, but that didn't save Youngmin from getting glares.

This time, however, since it's you're wedding he had missed... Well, let's not forget that you were known as "the rowdy elite" back in high school.

"Why, you little bastard!" you shout as you suddenly stand up and aim to attack Youngmin who shouts as he stretches his arms out and successfully stops you from getting near him.

He then looks towards Yunho and Denise only to see Yunho looking at him with an unimpressed expression with his arms folded on the table and Denise glaring at him with her arms folded across her chest. "G-guys?! A little help here?"

"You think you actually deserve any help?! You missed both our weddings and caused Denise to go into a mental breakdown all because you chose work over your friends, you dumbass!" you shout at him angrily, still trying to attack him.

"Alright, alright! I'm sorry, okay! I really didn't mean to, but it was important business! If I didn't attend, my company would have gone bankrupt!" he says.

None of you believe him, though. Denise just raises her brow, and you suddenly grab Youngmin by his arm before flipping him onto the ground.

"Agh! Ow?!" Youngmin shouts as he sits up from the ground and looks at you with a pained expression. Meanwhile, Yunho laughs and Denise claps and gives you a thumbs-up. "That's rather uncharacteristic of you, don't you think, Denise?" Youngmin then asks as he looks towards the young woman.

Denise just sticks her tongue out at him as a response.

"Alright, I think that's just about enough punishment for you," you then say a second later as you hold your hand out to help the older man up.

Youngmin looks up at you with a slight pout before he grabs your arm and helps himself up.

In the next few minutes, all four of you soon find yourselves seated at your table as if nothing happened. And by that, I mean, like civilized adults.

Still, Youngmin still feels awkward and nervous as all three of you still continue to partially ignore him. "Gosh, this must be what Yunho felt back in high school," he thinks to himself, loosely holding the handle of his cup of coffee as he smiles nervously. "So... what's been going on in all your lives?"

"It's been swell," Yunho responds with a light shrug.

"We got married, if you didn't know, yet," you respond coldly.

"Oh, and I'm pregnant." That would be Denise.

It wasn't just Youngmin who was shocked by the news, though.

Your eyes immediately widen before you turn to her. "Wait, what?! You never told me that before!"

Denise's expression then turns brighter as she looks at you. "Well, that's what we've actually been meaning to tell you," she then says as she looks towards you and Youngmin. "Also, we're planning on having a gender reveal on the seventh month. I'm telling you two in advance so you," she looks towards Youngmin threateningly, "can fix your schedule so you can surely attend this time. You better be the one to pick up the ultrasound report, and you should plan it with Y/N."

"You can have Jisung join in, too," Yunho adds in.

"Oh, I heard you guys also served as each other's maid of honor and best man for each other's weddings?" Youngmin then suddenly intercedes, getting sharp glares from you three in return. "Alright. I get it. Don't mention the wedding that I couldn't attend," he says defensively with his hands up. "So? We good now?" he asks as he looks expectantly towards you all.

All three of you look towards each other knowingly before turning back to him with cheeky smiles. "No."

"What?!"

"We're just kidding," you quickly intercede. "You're not yet completely off the hook yet, though. You still have to attend Denise and Yunho's baby's gender reveal to prove that you'll actually do better next time."

Youngmin rolls his eyes as he speaks. "Yeah, yeah. Will do."
