I look towards Jisung just as he turns his gaze towards me, suddenly choking on his smoothie as he meets my gaze.

"W-what?" he asks after a coughing fit as he looks back at me. "Did I do something wrong or something?" He looks like he had just forgotten what he had initially suspected me of.

DID HE SERIOUSLY JUST FORGET ALL THAT OVER JUST A CUP OF SMOOTHIE?!

My glare intensifies, and Jisung moves back in his seat as he looks back at me with a questioning gaze. "So were you following me?" I ask him with a lot of suspicion in my tone.

And then he remembers.

At least, that's what his expression shows. Clearly though, of course, he does, because in the next second, he suddenly bursts out looking back at me with the same wide-eyed suspicion he had on his face when we both got off the bus.

"Whaaaat?! You're the one who followed me off the bus!" he retorts.

I gasp loudly in return. "Now, wait a minute! Is it my fault I got off second when you took the seat right next to the aisle?!"

"It's not like you were going to give that window seat, anyway!"

Yeah, at this point, we must have been making so much noise already, we could have had a lot of people looking at us. Not like that would stop us, though.

I mean, we did. But... it's not because of the people staring.

"Alright, fine," I say, holding my palms up and trying to calm us both. "Fine. Let's just... calm ourselves first." I look towards Jisung, and he seems to calm down as well, though a small pout rests on his lips as he settles down in his seat. Then, I continue speaking. "So, let's say both of us somehow found each other in the same place at the same time. Not only that, it just so happens that we're both skipping classes, as well. So! What are the chances that one of us might have been hired by the other one's parents to spy on that other person and to snitch on them later?"

This time, Jisung looks at me suspiciously. "So, what? Are you implying that you could be a spy hired by my parents?"

And, once again, I raise my voice, this time, standing up and slamming my hands on the table. "No! I'm implying that you're a spy!"

Jisung retorts with a look of disbelief on his face. "The heck?! What kind of implication is that even?!"

"You literally just randomly appeared and sat beside me on the bus!"

"You followed me out of the bus, though?!"

"I told you, I wasn't following you!"

Clearly, at this point, we had just called attention to ourselves once again, but neither of us can obviously care.

Besides, I just wanna get to the bottom of all this just to make sure my parents don't catch me skipping school.

But was that really the reason why I brought back this discussion?

Either way, a waitress eventually approaches us (me, specifically, but anyway), and as I turn to her, she kindly tells me with an awkward smile to keep it down, before she turns to Jisung with that same expression on her face.

Ah...

This time, we actually shut up due to the attention on us, and I finally sat back down, quietly sipping on my smoothie while Jisung did the same.

At this point, we're just too embarrassed to even continue talking about the bus incident.

So it becomes quiet again, and as I glance towards Jisung at one point, I start to wonder...

So how did I end up drinking smoothies at the same table with this random guy again?

Then, he looks outside the display window right next to us. His face lights up, and my brows rise in curiosity at his reaction. "Oh? It stopped raining."

His words make me look outside as well, and I notice, "Huh. He's right."

"Hey," he then says to call my attention, and I look back at him. "Since we just so happen to be here at the same time, let's just enjoy our time on the beach together, yeah?... After all, the more, the merrier."

My brows rise again, but then I realize he actually does have a point. After all, what's the point of spending my rest alone when he's here? "Sure," I reply with a shrug as I continue sipping on my drink.

Only, in the next second, Jisung suddenly challenges me.

"Last to the sea pays for the drinks!" he announces before he runs out of the store.

My eyes widen, and the next thing I know, I'm furrowing my brows and following him out. "Hey! Hey, you can't do that! Jisung!"

He only laughs as he looks back at me with a mischievous grin.

Ugh! I swear I'm gonna do something to him once I get to him.
