Yelena was in her safe house beginning to pack her things when she noticed the tracker on the back of her suit, she immediately knew who put it there. As she was packing up a knock came at the door. Immediately Yelena grabbed her pistol and approached the door, she opened it to see Y/N smiling.
"What are you doing here?" Yelena said as she put her gun away.
"I'm here to spend Christmas day with my Aunt." Y/N said as he smiled at her while he was holding a present.
"Who's that for, Kate Bishop?"
"No, it's for you. Mom said you loved this kind of stuff and considering I wrecked yours in our fight I decided I should replace it." Y/N said as Yelena opened the present and saw a black hooded army surplus tactical vest. "That enough pockets for you?"

"Why? I tried to kill you, I threw your girlfriend off a roof and I tried to kill your uncle-"
"Because you were lied to by your boss's. Besides, it's Christmas, time of forgiveness and all that." Y/N said as he smiled at Yelena. "Would you like to have Christmas dinner with the extended family?"
"You mean you, Bishop and Barton?"
"and Clint's family. Natasha was his kids auntie, by proxy that also makes you their auntie. And Kate's excited to meet her and I'm quoting here 'aunt-in-law'. Yeah, she was being a smartass at the time about the in-law part, but seriously, we've made a space for you." Y/N said warmly as Yelena let a small tear run down her cheek.
"They did?"
"Yeah, Yelena, it doesn't matter what you did, you were lied to, manipulated by whoever you work for, no one blames you, hell if someone came up to me and told me that someone who I'd never met had betrayed and killed Kate, you know I'd be hunting them to the ends of the earth, hell, if it was you that got betrayed and killed I'd hunt the people down. We don't judge people on their worst mistakes?" Y/N said as he hugged Yelena.
"You sure?"
"Yeah, but seriously if we're goin' we need to get in the taxi now or else I won't be able to afford the fare." Y/N said as Yelena put her new vest on and followed Y/N out to a minibus with Clint driving, Kate on one of the back seats, Lucky in the boot (Trunk). Y/N got in next to Kate while Yelena was in the passenger seat next to Clint as they set off for his family farm.
Kate and Y/N were bickering in the car about who had the cooler suit while listening to Y/N's music, Clint and Yelena were sharing memories of Nat when Y/N and Kate started singing with the music. Yelena immediately recognized the lyrics, she turned and smiled at them.
"Nat always told me and Y/N that was your favorite." Clint said as he checked the rear-view mirror. "It was the first song he heard so it was immediately his favorite too."
"What happened to make him want to be a vigilante?"
"I don't think he knows what exactly brought it on, it's more of a combination of things that led to that life choice." Clint answered as they arrived.
