Y/N was thinking to himself as everyone around him was dealing with the fallout of the attacks, Sam, Bucky, Wanda, Peter, Bruce and the rest of the Avengers had arrived and they saw Y/N standing as he looked at the mansion burning while thinking. Sam was the first to approach Y/N as the boy continued to think to himself.
"Stacy filled us in, what do you need from us?" Sam asked as Y/N regained his composure, trying to look like he wasn't panicked beyond belief in front of the team.
"I need you all to work on finding them, Miles & Peter you two search Harlem, Kamala and Harley you two with Sam in upper west side and central park, Bucky and Logan, upper east side, Wanda and Dad you two are with me, we're going to Hell's Kitchen, then midtown, Rogue and Colossus, Chinatown and the financial district, any more volunteers?" Y/N said as Kitty made her way through the crowd of X-men.
"I'll do it?" Kitty said as Y/N looked her in the eyes with a silent apology, she returned the apology with a look and a nod.
"Kitty and-"
"I'll help too." Pepper's voice said as she landed in her rescue suit.
"Aunt Pepper I can't ask that of you not with Morgan-"
"Your not asking that from me, I'm volunteering, I'll go with Kitty to Greenwich." Pepper said as Y/N saw her giving a 'do not fuck with me' glare.
"Fine, remember, this person could be hiding out anywhere so look everywhere, every crack and crevice, every sewer if we have to. keep in contact on the comms, and be careful." Y/N said as they all set off to their designated districts around Manhattan to investigate while the remaining members of the X-men were going to investigate the rest of New York.
Y/N, Wanda and Bruce were in Hell's kitchen, they were talking to Jessica Jones and Matt Murdock, asking if they knew anything about Kate and Yelena, asking Jessica if she'd seen them and asking Matt if he'd heard anything on the grapevine.
"We think these attacks were both meant as a distraction to keep us off the scent of their real plans. I think I know who is funding all this recent supercriminal activity, Eleanor Bishop and Madame B, they've been spotted working together on CCTV, My guess is Eleanor is building a criminal organization to take over from Fisk while Madame B is working with her to manufacture and distribute the Red Room's mind control serum. Reasonable deduction is that Eleanor is funding these multiversal criminals and their activities in order to take our attention from their likely growing organization, Eleanor wanted Kate taken because Kates her daughter and right now she would be our best way into her head, Madame B wanted Yelena because she's a former Black Widow and Madame B used to train them, she sees Yelena as her property and thinks she's reclaiming her belongings." Y/N said as Jessica nodded while looking proud, Matt gave a smile to Jessica.
"You taught him good." Matt observed as Jessica grinned.
"Damn right I did. So, they kidnap your auntie and less than an hour later they kidnap your pregnant girlfriend, on top of that a week ago they kidnapped the police captain that works with you. So all of the kidnap victims have some link to you, sounds like they're trying to rile you up, get you to come rushing after them alone looking for vengeance or something, where you'll do something reckless because of the feelings involved. They're setting a trap for you Y/N, and if they're smart enough to have been playing the long game with you then they're dangerous, you need to be extra careful." Jessica said as Y/N nodded, understanding the point she was making.
"Trust me, I'm playing it safe, I wanna see my kid before I die." Y/N said as Jessica smiled.
"Congratulations by the way." Jessica, Matt, Wanda and Bruce all said at the same time causing Y/N to laugh.
"Thanks, not to bee a buzzkill but let's focus on saving the hostages and stop Madame B and Eleanor's organization, then we can celebrate." Y/N said as Jessica smiled to Y/N before heading to her room and came back with a folder of photos, Y/N looked at them.

"Is that, The Joker?" Y/N asked as Jessica nodded.
"He was headed towards the compound just before the explosion." Jessica answered as Y/N ran his hand over his face while Wanda was reading his thoughts seeing all of the horrors this person had committed as a fictional character in comic books, she could see why he was scared, he had become real and he had Kate and Yelena, there had to be a chance that they were alive.
Y/N stepped outside to take a deep breath, he was wearing his civilian clothes, he began to pat his pockets down and found something that in the light of recent events he had forgotten he had. He reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a small red box.
