Y/N and Kate were in their home along with Peter who was staying over for some time thanks to his apartment flooding. Kate and Y/N were sitting in front of the TV on the couch cuddling with each other, they had a KFC on their laps as they watched Star Wars while Peter was sitting on the floor with his own portion of food.
It was peaceful and quiet until all three of their phones went off, it was a text from an unknown number on their 'work' phones, a cop.
Unknown: Meet on precinct roof, Yuri needs your help.
Y/N and Kate headed to their hidden room with their equipment while Peter suited up in the bathroom, leaving his clothes in the spare room before swinging out of the window and off into the city while Kate and Y/N took Natasha's old Corvette Stingray.

They sped through the streets with ease, the car was fitted with an Avengers warning system that told nearby drivers where the car was so they could move out of the way. Kate was thinking silently to herself how to tell Y/N something she thought he should know, but knew now wasn't the time, she knew that they should be off duty for her to tell him.
When they arrived at the precinct roof The police officer who texted them was waiting for them.
"So you're the Vigilante and Hawkeye, and this guy is spider man. Names George Stacy, acting Captain around here, at least until we manage to find out what's happened to Yuri." Stacy said as he shook hands with them all.
"What do you mean?" Y/N asked as Stacy showed handed him a file.
"Yuri's family were found brutally murdered in their own home and Yuri's been missing for a good three days. Whispers are going about that some of the people on the case suspect she did it-"
"I doubt that. And if she did it wasn't of her own will. Yuri wouldn't kill her family that way, it's just not her." Y/N said as Peter and Kate looked over the file. "We'll look into it, just keep any rumors about Yuri away from the press, if this wasn't her the last thing she needs is people accusing her of crimes she didn't commit."
"Look I know you consider her a friend but you need to keep it professional." Stacy said as Y/N looked at him. "If you want to prove she's innocent in whatever capacity you gotta do this by the book-"
"Relax Stacy, by the book is my name." Y/N said as he looked to Kate and Peter who were shaking their heads and Kate was giving a 'better luck next time' smile to Y/N.

"Well that's the last time I try a one liner like that." Y/N said to himself as Stacy turned away for a moment to answer his radio only to turn back around to see Y/N had vanished while Kate and Peter were preparing to leave.
"Yeah, he does that a lot, might wanna get used to telling him everything before taking your eyes off him." Kate said as she jumped off the building and used her rope arrow to safely descend down the building before pressing a button on her bow to retrieve the rope arrow. When Kate got into the car with Y/N she looked at him as he had deactivated his mast. "You okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. Just terrified that one of my current theories could be true." Y/N said as Kate nodded.
"Babe, you mind if we head home and have a talk, there's something I think we should really talk about." Kate asked as Y/N looked concerned.
"Sure, although no sentence that ever had a variation of the words 'we need to talk' has ever ended out working well for me in the long run." Y/N said as Kate smiled.
"Don't worry it's not that, in fact it's quite the opposite, kinda." Kate said as Y/N began to drive back to the compound. "So, in the meantime whats your theory that has you so worried?"
"What if that both was and wasn't Yuri, what if Madame B really is back and this time she has the perfected version of Dreykov's mind control, and what if she used it on Yuri? I mean sure we have an antidote for it but I'm more worried about Yuri's mental state, she'll still remember doing that to her family. I think Yelena would be best to diagnose whether or not this is the mind control." Y/N said as Kate looked confused.
"Wait, mind control?"
"Yeah, well chemical subjugation of the brain, Dreykov figured out a way to control people's brains and bodies remotely, it was quite creepy actually when I first heard about it from Mom." Y/N said as Kate shuddered at the thought, Y/N and Yelena had described how creepy and how much of a perv Dreykov was, Y/N had only faced him once and he still shivered at the notion of ever having to face him again, that man was the creepiest bastard Y/N had ever known, and that list would wrap around the world twice thanks to the people he meets in his 'occupation'.
"Jesus, didn't your Mom tell you that he had some pheromone related power?"
"Yeah, that's possibly the weirdest power I've heard of, and let's face it, we've dealt with a lot of weird abilities." Y/N said as he pulled the car up to the Avengers compound garage and they got out. "So, what did you want to talk about."
"Babe you should sit down." Kate said as Y/N nervously sat down in front of her.
"Kate, what's up you're starting to worry me here, is something wrong, did I do something, did I say something?"
"Y/N relax, alright, you're perfect."
"Okay, what is it?" Y/N asked as Kate took a deep breath before she spoke.
