Y/N and Kate were sat together in the mansion garden, relaxing, it was calm. Or at least it was until Y/N heard fighting coming from inside the mansion, Y/N and Kate walked inside and well, Y/N was knocked for six, he had to put his head between his legs, the breath was knocked from him by who he was looking at...They were all back, The X-Men were alive.
"Hello Y/N." Professor X said as he saw a tear go down Y/N's cheek.
"You're all, aliv--how is this possible, you were all but wiped out in the war. I was there, I watched it happen, I made it happen, so how are you all alive?" Y/N said as Kate looked confused before putting it together.
"Wait, these are the X-Men?" Kate asked as Y/N nodded. Before Professor X could explain someone pushed through the crowd and looked at Y/N in astonishment.
"Y/N?"
"...Kitty?" Y/N said in shock as Kate looked to Y/N.

"Who's your friend?" Kitty asked immediately feeling tension between Y/N and Kate.
"Kitty this is Kate, my girlfriend." Y/N said as Kitty nodded like she was offended before walking away. "That went smoothly."
"Yeah, like a cobblestone road." Kate said sarcastically as Professor X approached.
"How long has it been since we 'died' for you?" Charles asked as Y/N looked confused for a moment.
"Eleven years and a four months." Y/N answered as Charles looked at Y/N with empathy.
"Kate is the first person you've been with since Kitty isn't she? How long before you met Kate boy?"
"Ten years and 11 months, I met her just before the Christmas just gone." Y/N answered as Charles and the rest of the X-Men looked at him in shock.
"A decade, a decade hating yourself and blaming yourself. You poor boy." Charles said as Logan stepped forward.
"Does Natasha know about what happened to us?" Logan asked as Y/N nodded but didn't speak, he felt tears stream down his face. "Y/N?"
"Mom's dead, she died, sacrificing herself to bring half the universe back, she died and I was stood there, I watched her throw herself off that cliff, I held her him my arms and my uncle got what she died for, the stupid orange space rock. Mom and Tony Stark are dead. Steve Rogers is in another timeline thanks to time travel and sh-stuff like that." Y/N said as Kate tried to comfort her boyfriend while Kitty could hear it from the other room, she could hear everything. She was hearing how much Y/N had lost, how much he'd been through since 2013. The X-Men weren't shocked however by the fact he was still alive, especially those that knew him well, they all knew he was tough, though they didn't know just how tough until now.
That evening Y/N ran through the situation with Charles and Logan, explaining what his plans for the mansion were.
"This team, the New Avengers, would you be willing to accept us into it?" Logan asked as Y/N nodded.
"I think we can afford to share the mansion." Charles said to Logan who nodded.
"We'll need more facilities to handle the large amount of new students, hopefully we have enough." Y/N said as Kate checked her companies profits.
"Well, Bishop security is doing well, we can use the money from that to fund the team." Kate said as Y/N thought about it for a minute. "Okay, Bishop security has a partnership with SI now since you took over right?"
"Yeah."
"Good, I'll talk to...some people in R&D about setting this place up." Y/N said as he nodded to himself.
"This team, who leads it?" Charles asked.
"We have a council, Me, Kate, Wanda, and Yelena are the members of the council right now, why?"
"Nothing, you've come so far since we first met Y/N. I'm proud of you boy." Charles said with a smile.

Y/N nodded gratefully once before he received a message from Yuri.
Yuri: Some nutjob's left a riddle for you on the side of the precinct.
Y/N: On our way.
Y/N and Kate said goodbye to Charles and Logan before heading to the underground room containing their suits, after suiting up the pair ran off to the Mjolnir parked outside and sped off to the police precinct to meet Yuri.
"They're in a hurry." Rogue said as Kitty phased through the wall and flew after the car, keeping an eye on them before landing next to them and seeing the wall.
"Kitty what are you doing here?" Y/N asked as Kitty glared at Kate for a moment.
"I came to help. You said that we might have been able to come back thanks to a crack in the multiverse or however you explained right, now from this I'm guessing it's the riddler from Batman and that villains can come through that crack too...so considering you're up against the a super villain, you might need help." Kitty said as Y/N glance to see Kate focusing on the wall.
"Fine, just try and keep it professional." Y/N said calmly as he turned to the wall. "Hope shines brightly in this city of dark, find it's source and you'll hit your mark."
"You know what it means?"
"It's a riddle from the batman Arkham series, Arkham knight, the answer was the bat signal." Y/N answered. "Only here I get the feeling he knows about what's happened to him, he's giving a riddle in the answer itself. The Bat signal is located on top of the GCPD in the game meaning there should be a clue on the roof."
Y/N and Kate grappled up onto the roof while Kitty flew up and Yuri took the stairs, when Yuri reached the roof she saw Y/N reading the new riddle. Was reading it aloud.
"I own the world thanks to my marriage and with Stark realization, now I shall take the brunt of the damage."
"What is it?"
"He's going to kill someone. Someone who he thinks married into power." Kate said as Y/N realized the target.
"He's going after Pepper Stark." Y/N said as Kate looked at him in shock.
