Y/N and Kate were on top of a building looking out over the city together as they listened for anything that could produce a lead.
"I got something, Phone call about a drugs shipment, sounded a lot like the Scientist shopping list." Kate said as Y/N looked at his helmet's HUD and saw where she had placed a waypoint. He performed a leap of faith and used his grapple to land perfectly.
When Y/N and Kate arrived at the warehouse where the shipment was arriving they looked in through the skylight, Kate looked to Y/N who pressed a button on his wrist controls, it sent out a pulse and uncovered twelve hostiles.
Kate nodded as she fired an electrical arrow into the fuse box causing it to overload and the power in the warehouse to cut out.
"3...2...1...go." Y/N said as they both smashed in through the skylight, both of them landing on guards who were slammed into the floor and knocked unconscious.
Kate immediately began firing her widows bite arrows while Y/N began to knock every enemy out, forgetting that he had been out of it for seven years, they both had. Their visors night vision modes were jammed by something, Y/N took the night vision mode off to see a group of Black Widows burst in and for the Scientist to walk in with the Joker. Y/N rushed at The Scientist and tried to fight him, the Widows did as ordered an allowed Y/N to charge only to be clothes lined to the floor by the Scientist, Kate fired an arrow and a Widow shot her in the shoulder.
The two heroes were on the floor as the joker laughed approaching Kate while The scientist laughed approaching Y/N. As Y/N went to stand up the Joker kicked him in the ribs while laughing.

Y/N kept trying to get up only to be beaten back down by the Joker. Kate was trying to get up but the Scientist knocked her back down as Y/N watched her being beaten he was helpless, the Widows took over from Joker in beating Y/N to the floor and even while he was on it.
"Don't worry, we're not gonna unmask you, we already know who you are, Your father, the real one...he told us everything."
"He's dead, your Scientist protégé killed him." Y/N said as The Joker laughed even more maniacally.

"Oh 'Brother'. For someone who's meant to be a detective, you really aren't that smart." The Scientist said as Y/N looked over to see Kate bruised and bloodied while the Scientist loaded his signature pistol.
"You're not my brother are you?" Y/N said as the Scientist shook his head slowly he signalled for some of the widows to bring someone in, a few moments later they returned with Melina, David and Kitty. Y/N tried to get up but three Widows pinned him down.
Another Widow pulled Kat up onto her knees and lined her up with Melina, David and Kitty who was forced to wear a power dampening collar.

Y/N looked at it a knew what was coming. He climbed to his feet and rushed at the Scientist threw him over his shoulder and ordered the Widows to have a better grip in him next time.
"You see Y/N, you've had everything, you've got a wife, a son, a family...I haven't got any of that, but don't worry soon, I will, you'll know what it's like to have everything ripped from you by your own flesh and blood...Oh yeah, you're gonna know what that's like, you're gonna learn that in spades. Speaking of which you're gonna need one to put these three in a bucket when I'm finished with them. Especially your son. I can't decide what order, maybe I should kill Kate third and the boy last so he can see his mother die because of you, and you get to live with the fact that your son died hating you and blaming you for his mothers death. Or maybe I'll kill the boy first, let Kate hate you and blame you just before she dies." The Scientist said as his voice began to change and Y/N began to recognize who it really was.
"How are you alive, Yelena killed you." Y/N said as the Scientist looked at him.
"And it all hits him, just like this hit his ex." The Scientist said as he turned and fired his gun into the back of Kitty's head, he followed by beating Melina and carving her and Kitty up just like he had done to Wanda, Y/N froze up in shock as the Joker just cackled while Kate and David looked in pure shock and terror.
'Remember what mom taught you, don't let shock own you.' Y/N thought to himself as he felt the red mist descend and the pure adrenaline kick in, Kate and David seemed to have noticed it as they nervously looked between Y/N and their captors.
Y/N let out a low growl as he began to push the Widows off him, Kate was too quick for the scientist and knocked the gun from his hand while kicking the joker across the face.
Y/N stood up and knocked out the Widows attacking him before running at the scientist and beginning to pummel the man into the ground like he was feral, Y/N wasn't stopping and continued punching over and over while Kate focused on the joker.

The Joker managed to land a good few stabs on Kate but thanks to her armour she was unaffected, he began using brute force and tried to punch her but she ducked under the attack and round house kicked him in the chest, he just laughed as he went for it again, Y/N turned to see Joker pull out a pistol and point it at David, without hesitation Y/N jumped in front of the bullet and shield David. He passed Kate one of her stun batons and she tasered the Joker with it before Y/N sent a flying knee into the Joker who was still laughing.
Y/N picked the clown up and slammed him into the table, the Joker managed to stab Y/N through a gap in his armour but the boy was practically high on adrenaline right now, he just beat the Joker the same way he had done to the Scientist moments before. The cops arrived responding to reports of gunfire and found Joker and the Scientist beaten half to death but they both laughed at it, their plan was all working out.
