2014(6 months before Age of Ultron):
Y/N and Nat were celebrating Christmas day in New York together and right now they were on the Ice Rink with Natasha struggling to get her bearings on the Ice.
"Aren't you Russian Mom, this should literally be a walk in the park for you." Y/N jokes as he's hit by a snowball thrown by Lila.
"Thanks Lila." Nat calls out and Lila puts her thumbs up at her.
"Yeah, thanks Lila." Y/N called out in a smartass tone.
"Your welcome."
As another snowball hit him in the face, Y/N turned to see Natasha had escaped the Ice Rink and began throwing the snowballs at him.
Eventually they all rushed home to have a giant snowball fight on the Barton Ranch.
2015:
"Y/N, what did you do to annoy Tony?" Nat asked as the boy gave her his best innocent pout. "That's not working on me."
"I may have spray painted a butt crack in the back of his suit." Y/N laughed as the corners of Natasha's mouth curled into a smile and Pepper walked in laughing, she approached Y/N and high-fived him, handing him a $10 bill.
"Can't believe you really did it." Pepper laughed as Y/N smiled smugly.
2008:
Y/N and Natasha were sitting in a cafe, whole Natasha was sipping her coffee Y/N was drinking a mint-choc-chip milkshake with cream on top. Nat was asking Y/N what he wanted to do for his upcoming birthday.
"I just wanna hang out with my friends and family, nothing big." Y/N said calmly as Nat smiled at him.
"I can get behind that." Nat said as she leant in and kissed Y/N on his forehead. "Now come on, we gotta get you to school."
2012:
Y/N and the Avengers were all eating shawarma after fighting off the Chitauri army at the battle of New York, well, the Avengers were eating, Y/N was asleep with his head rested on his mothers shoulder. It had been a tiring day.
2015:
Y/N was in the labs with Tony, they were working on suits for the Avengers. Y/N was in the middle of working on Clint's suit when he heard Tony panicking, he took his earbuds out and looked up to see Tony had somehow started a fire on his Iron Man suit.
"Ow, ow. Y/N go get something to help quick." Tony said as Y/N picked up a glass of water and poured it on the small flame, he simply shook his head at Tony before returning to work.
2011:
Y/N was in Xaviers school, in his and Kitty's dorm when he heard something crash next door, he heard Kitty get startled and she accidentally phased through her bunk on the bed and fell on Y/N.
"Awkward." Y/N said as Kitty rolled off the bed and landed on her face. Y/N got up and helped her to her feet before putting on a pair of slippers and heading into the room next door and immediately being hit with a pillow by Rogue.
"Oh, Y/N, sorry, I thought you someone else." She said as Y/N raised his eyebrow.
"Uh-huh. I was just checking, we heard the bang from our room."
"Oh I'm fine, just um ya know dropped some books." Rogue lied unconvincingly as Y/N sighed.
"Just be more careful, same goes for Bobby in the closet to my right, might not be me walking in to check next time." Y/N said smartly as Bobby, Rogues boyfriend revealed.
"How'd you know I was here?"
"Rogues really not too great at lying especially to me, and you were breathing louder than Darth Vader." Y/N said calmly before leaving. "Don't worry, secrets safe with me."
That night Y/N couldn't get back to sleep so he stayed up at his desk going through criminology books and finishing any homework he had for the next day while Kitty slept like a baby, Y/N sometimes took a break and went outside to do a few laps of the campus grounds.
Kitty woke up the next morning to find Y/N asleep with his head buried in a book.
"Oh this is getting plastered on the notice board." Kitty muttered as she took a photo of Y/N and left to print off a copy before pinning the photo of him on the school notice board.
In physical training Y/N was sparring with Logan.
"Hey, Y/N, watch that you don't fall asleep!" Bobby called out as Y/N didn't even pause the sparring match, He held his middle finger at Bobby.
"That the finger you where using on Rogue last night?" Y/N called back earning a laugh from Rogue and Bobby to flush with embarrassment. Even Logan cracked a smile.
Kitty was laughing with Rogue at the joke as Y/N continued the sparring match and ultimately beat Logan fair and square.
The rest of the day was filled with normal happenings, Kitty had gone out to a party with the other students, leaving Y/N in the school gym working out for a few hours before reading through another criminology book and annotating it.
By the time Kitty and the rest of the students arrived back at the school Kitty found Y/N asleep in his bunk of the bed.
Present day:
Y/N woke up in Kate's hospital room next to her bed, with Wanda having left to attend a lesson with Strange and Yelena sleeping on a chair in the corner of the room.
He looked at his comatose girlfriend and considering what his options were, he had to stay here to protect her in the event of the government coming for them.
"You okay?" Yelena asked as she woke up from her sleep, Y/N smiled and nodded as he turned to face Yelena.
"I'll make do. I'm heading down to the canteen do you want anything?" Y/N asked as Yelena thought for a moment before nodding.
a bottle of water and some toast please." She said as she reached for a small bundle of money.
"It's alright, I've got enough." Y/N said as he headed down to the canteen and bought breakfast for him and Yelena along with a cup of coffee for him and a bottle of water for Yelena.
