Y/N was getting fresh air on the street when Jessica joined him and saw the box he was looking at, she offered him a bottle of whisky that he promptly turned down.
"Best not, I need a clear head if I want to find them." Y/N said as Jessica nodded at him.
"You know, when you first came to my door I'll admit, I thought you wouldn't have the heart to go through with being an investigator, thought I'd seen your kind so many times before, you say you wanna do one thing and then give up when it gets a bit difficult. Turns out, I was wrong, you haven't just learned from me, I think you've surpassed me, and I'm proud of you kid, you're damn good, so if anyone here is gonna find them, it's gonna be you." Jessica said as Y/N laughed.
"You been drinking that before we got here, it's not like you to get all mushy, specially not with me." Y/N smirked as Jessica smiled. "Wanda, Bruce and myself best get going, city to scour and all that."
"Y/N, when you find Kate, you tell her. Tell her you love her, I think you both deserve that clarity." Jessica said as Y/N smiled and nodded.
For the rest of the day Y/N, Wanda and Bruce searched Hell's Kitchen, leaving no stone unturned as they practically tore apart the criminal underworld in search of Joker and his hostages, that was until Y/N got a message from Stacy. Y/N left Wanda and Bruce to continue searching while he met with Stacy on the precinct.
Y/N was waiting for around thirty seconds until Stacy walked up, he had two women following him, one was a blonde girl around the same age as Peter and the other...was Yuri.
"Yuri?" Y/N said as he approached and went to embrace her. She was still wrapped in a shock blanket but she returned the favor, even though she didn't know who was under Y/N's mask, she considered him and Kate some of her close friends, she trusted them. She finally let a tear fall down her face as she sobbed into Y/N's shoulder.
"I killed them, I...killed my family, I had no control, she injected me with something and told me to kill my family, and...oh god." Yuri said as Y/N held her tight and let Yuri talk it all out while sobbing.
"It wasn't you, it was her and that fucking mind control. Yuri, I hate to ask but I need you to tell me every detail, they took more people hostage, with your help I might be able to save them and stop Madame B and Eleanor." Y/N said as his heart twinged at what he was doing to someone he considered as not just an ally, but a friend, he was going to reveal his identity to her one day but Madame B has thrown a wrench in that plan for now.
"I was looking into a tip off about Madame B, it wasn't anything major, just someone who had a legitimate report, but when I got there they were dead and Madame B was waiting with her soldiers, the grabbed me and one drugged me, next thing I knew I was tied to one of those standing bed things with something being injected into me, she then told me to kill my entire family, and it was like I was a puppet on fucking strings, I walked into my house and butchered them, slaughtered them and they never stood a chance, then I returned to the meeting point where I was sedated and taken somewhere..." Yuri said as Y/N paced for a moment before stopping and turning to her.
"This place what was it called?" Y/N asked in a worried tone.
"It's all fuzzy-"
"Yuri please try and remember anything, did she say anything that struck you as odd or strange at the time."
"I can't remember it all, they had me on so many drugs."
"Come on, she must have mentioned something, Yuri remember." Y/N said as he shook Yuri, he was panicking hoping for Yuri to not confirm his suspicions. "What did she say-"
"The New Red Room! She said something about carrying on the legacy of someone called Dreykov." Yuri interrupted as Y/N stumbled back and fell. At this point he didn't care who saw him without the mask, he had bigger issues. He unwittingly took the mask off and went on all fours as he threw up from a feeling of pure terror.
The Blonde woman ran to Y/N and tried to help him.
"Gwen-" Cpt.Stacy said as Gwen looked Y/N in the eyes.
"Hey Y/N, long time since midtown huh." She whispered as Y/N looked at her, she could see the panic in his eyes. "Don't worry, I won't tell if you don't."
Gwen showed Y/N a pair of web shooters and a bit of a white skintight outfit underneath her clothes.

Gwen handed Y/N his mask and he put it back on before turning to look at Yuri and Captain Stacy.
"What's the Red Room and why has it got you so fucked up?" Yuri asked as Y/N looked at her.
"They're the ones who trained young girls into Black Widows, they trained Natasha Romanoff, Yelena Belova. Name an atrocity and the Red Room has probably done it, mass murders done, human experiments done, mind control done. At a young age the Red Room has a sick and twisted 'graduation ceremony'. They forcibly sterilize the girls who graduate, to take away the one thing that could be more important than the mission. The Red Room returning is the worst case scenario I could ever think of and that's with Thanos coming back included. Thanos can be killed but the Red Room is an idea at it's core, same as us but different in the worst ways, were as we all stand for justice, they stand for tyranny, where as we stand out in the open willing to suffer for protecting the innocent, their leaders hide in the shadows to work towards hurting innocents, were as we seek to do what is right and to protect people, they stand for the boogeyman, they will come and take your kid in the night and you'll end up dead while they turn your kid into a killing machine. Imagine the single most evil thing you can, they've likely tried it, brainwashing, mind control, forced sterilization, they train young girls to use sex and seduction to aid the mission, they...they steal children's innocence and their childhood, and right now, they have Kate Bishop and Yelena Belova."
