Y/N, Kate and David were in the tower, having a family meeting, they were with Natasha and Yelena, Pepper and Morgan, Peter and Gwen had recently gotten together, everyone who Y/N called a friend or family member was there. Yuri was there, though she was quiet, Y/N knew she was still scarred by what had happened to her under the Red Room's control, she was back on the force and looking into the murders that had been plaguing the city since the Red Room had it's grips on it, she had come out of retirement to solve what she was calling her final case.
"David remember, don't go crazy on the cake." Y/N said as Kate watched, smiling Y/N being a father. Natasha saw it and felt her heart fill with pride knowing that her son had finally forgiven himself for everything, he had finally clawed his way out of his hole of self-hatred and found something to live for again.
Kate and Y/N were sitting and talking to each other when David sat between them and lay down across them resting his head on Kate's lap while putting his feet up on Y/N's lap.
"Help yourself." Y/N quipped as Kate laughed thinking of a way to get David to take his feet off Y/N's lap. "Seriously, my good pants too. Nothings sacred these days."
Kate leaned in and they began to make out.
"Ew, gross." David said getting up and running over to Peter and Gwen.
"What happened to the cute little kid I raised, when'd he get so cheeky?" Y/N asked as Kate smirked.
"Oh you only have yourself to blame, he gets his cheeky charms and wits from you." Kate answered as Y/N smiled, she looked into Y/N's eyes and saw that something was gone from behind his eyes, the fire he once had in his eyes when he was once the vigilante, it was gone, replaced only by the warmth of having it all and being free. "Do you miss it? Our old lives."
"I have you and my family. That's all I care for. I love you." Y/N answered bluntly as Kate smiled and kissed him.
The next morning Y/N and Kate were awoken by Natasha and Yelena having an early breakfast with travel bags on the table.
"You two going to vising Grandma Lina." Y/N said as Nat and Yelena looked at each other before smiling at him.
"Yeah, something like that." Nat said as she saw Y/N frown. "Hey, it's gonna be fine, I'll see--"
"Please, don't finish that sentence." Y/N said calmly with Nat knowing what he was referring to. "Whatever it is, just be careful yeah."
"We will be. By the way Pepper wanted to talk to you about something but you were asleep and she didn't want to wake you. You should stop by her office to check on her...once you clean up that is." Natasha said as Y/N nodded.
"Sure. I'll stop by after breakfast." Y/N said as Nat gave him a 'Mama-Nat' hug.
"Try not to cause trouble while I'm gone."
"I would never do that?" Y/N said as Nat raised her eyebrow.

"You used to wait until I was asleep and then sneak out to beat up criminals." Nat pointed out and heard Kate snickering in the background.

"You did not used to sneak out of the house when your mom was The Black Widow." Kate laughed to herself as Y/N went silent and blushed Kate laughed her head off. Nat and Yelena left saying goodbye and leaving Y/N to pick up the pieces, A.K.A put up with Kate's jokes at him for the day.
"Just cause it's not as impressive as destroying a one of a kind clock/bell tower as part of a bet." Y/N said as Kate laughed even harder.
"Oh no, I think it's more impressive." Kate said letting Y/N have the false sense of comfort. "If it were true."
"What makes you think it isn't true?" Y/N said as Kate finally calmed down enough.
"Because I'm confident that if you managed to sneak out of the house and your mom knew she'd either kill you or kick your ass worse than any criminal." Kate said as Y/N sighed.
"She sure kicked my ass alright, sheesh that was a rough few months." Y/N said as Kate looked at him intrigued. "She made me her 'sparring partner' in training, lets just say she taught me how to fight the hard way. She also grounded me and damn near deafened me when she lost her shit about it one time. I shudder to think what happened to Peter when that happened."
"Wait, so you really did used to sneak out in the early day of our old job?"
"Yeah, hell, before that even started. Sometimes I used to sneak out to visit Kitty." Y/N said as Kate smirked.
"Oh yeah, look at you Romeo." Kate joked as Y/N let his head drop.
"I'm never gonna hear the end of this am I?" Y/N muttered as Kate let out a low chuckle.
"Not if I have anything to say about it you won't. Well, not unless you make me." Kate said as Y/N thought of an idea. He began to kiss Kate and lull her into false security on the couch until he was lying on top of her, without warning Y/N began to tickle Kate who began to hit him over the head with a cushion. "Okay, okay. Hey, stop."
Y/N stopped as Kate threw the cushion at him.
"I hate you." She said as Y/N caught the cushion and returned it to sender. The cushion hit Kate on the head.
"I know you love me." Y/N said as he began to leave the room.
"Smartass." Kate called out as Y/N popped his head around the corner to talk to her again.
"You know you love my ass, you used to stare at it when we were on patrol." Y/N joked as Kate smiled and buried her head in the cushion.
"Your one to talk, I may love your ass but you adored mine."
"Only on birthdays and Christmases." Y/N quipped as Kate threw a banana at Y/N from the nearby fruit bowl.
"Get out of here. Dick, and don't even think about joking with that one." Kate said as Y/N just left laughing, walking down the hall to his and Kates room to get a shower.
