They still had a few hours until the Toxicology report arrived so Yelena and Wanda left to go on a walk.
Y/N was getting a shower, letting the water run over his body, when he walked into his quarters with the towel around his waist. He walked in and began to get dressed when Kate walked in and approached Y/N.
"Hey, you okay?" Y/N asked as Kate smiled at him cutely.

"Yeah, just um...checking up on you." Kate answered as she approached her boyfriend and cupped one side of his face with her hand. "Believe it or not, I know when you get upset, it's easy to tell." Kate said as Y/N's cheeks went red.
"How?"
"You bottle up your emotions and focus on the mission." Kate said as she leaned in and kissed Y/N, he melted into the kiss and returned the favor as they began to make out. Kate broke the kiss to talk.
"FRIDAY, activate privacy mode please." Kate said as Y/N saw the windows tint.
"Yes Katniss Everdeen." FRIDAY answered as Y/N raised his eyebrow.
"I had a bet with Yelena so I'm stuck with the name for a year." Kate said earning a laugh from Y/N who was knocked off guard by Kate immediately continuing their make out session. She pushed Y/N backwards onto the bed before straddling him and beginning to take Y/N's shirt off, Y/N was happy to return the favor and slipped his hands under the bottom of her shirt and pull it off her, all while keeping the kisses going, only separating to allow each other to take their shirts off.
"Kate, I know it's stupid to ask now but are you sur-"
"Shut up for a second." She said as she pushed him back onto the bed so he was lying down completely while Kate took her bra off.
30 minutes later:
Yelena was walking back into the compound with Wanda and the dog when they heard Kate moaning from upstairs.
"I guess you win that bet." Wanda said handing Yelena a $10 bill.
"This is definitely their second round." Yelena laughed as they both heard Kate shouting something.
"Y/N's a virgin isn't he?"
"I think that's gone then." Yelena snickered as they laughed, they were definitely not going to let Y/N and Kate live this down. Yelena and Wanda left the compound to give Y/N and Kate some privacy.
Later Y/N and Kate were laying next to each other, asleep in their bed, Kate was using up all the covers with a small corner of the covers covering Y/N. Kate was still sleeping when Y/N stood out of the bed, got dressed...again, and headed down to the living quarters where FRIDAY was displaying the toxicology reports.
'A dangerous mixture of hydrogen cyanide and strychnodide.'
"Christ almighty." Y/N muttered as he heard Kate's bare footsteps approaching him. He turned to see her drying her hair and wearing her suit. She looked at him and smiled as she grabbed some food and sat on a kitchen stool next to him, she began reading the toxicology as Y/N went through everything they knew.
"So, we can look for anyone buying those chemicals or anyone selling them and then eventually someone has to lead us to this guy." Kate said as Y/N nodded for a moment. "I said we, meaning both of us."
"I know. Look at this, it started just before you woke up." Y/N said as he put a video on screen it was live and had been for three minutes.
"It's New years eve tonight, so let's kick the year off with a...*explosion* bang!" The scientist said as he pressed a dynamite plunger, an explosion went off in the background, he pressed another but this time there was no explosion.
Kate was mortified by it. Y/N was pissed off, he watched as the Scientist called him out personally. Kate turned to look at Y/N, he was glaring at the screen like he wanted to kill The Scientist through the TV with just his glare.
"If The Hood doesn't come to meet me alone at the co-ordinates by the set time, then more people will die." The Scientist said as the camera cut off.
Y/N began to dial Yuri's number, ensuring the voice modifier was on over the phone.
"Where'd he hit?" Y/N said as Yuri got flooded with reports.
"The explosion went of at the Presbyterian Hospital and he set off a chemical weapon at a kids home." Yuri said as Y/N rubbed his eyes, he hung up. Kate looked to Y/N who headed off to suit up. He returned wearing his suit and ready to leave as Kate stood out in front of him.
"woah, you're not going where I think you're going." Kate asked as Y/N looked to her.
"To stop him." Y/N said bluntly as Kate grabbed his arm.
"Alone, Y/N he just blew up a hospital and gassed an orphanage just to prove he's not kidding. If you go alone you might not come back and the odds won't be the same as usual." Kate said as Y/N paused for a moment.
"Kate, if I don't do it someone's going to die, what are you suggesting? That I just let people die each day until there's no one left?" Y/N answered as Kate scoffed.
"Don't lie to me I know when you're lying. You want revenge for what he did to you and your parents, you aren't doing this to protect people you're doing this cause you got a murder boner for this guy!" Kate snapped as Y/N shook his head.
"What does it matter why I'm doing it?"
"Because it matters to people who The Hood, The Vigilante is, if you do this in a vendetta then you're a criminal just like him." Kate said as Y/N paused for a moment before sighing as he nodded to Kate.
"Fine, go suit get your stuff." Y/N relented as Kate left and got her bow and her arrows.
