━︎━︎━︎━︎━︎━︎━︎━︎━︎Monday had come by quickly as the boys found themselves dressing up in their uniforms once again after a whole week.
They were dropped off at the building the day before, receiving stares from random students passing by. Many people were preparing their bags to leave the school building for winter break, but these boys were bringing their stuff into the building only to pack up again and leave in a few days.
Monday was the beginning of exams week for the semester, and the school was starting with science exams. The classes were all setting up for the 4 hour test, and YangYang was looking for his classroom.
The boy was put in with the last names L-M which doesn't seem like a lot, but considering there were a lot of Lees, 1/4 of the entire class were with YangYang. That also included a certain boy whom YangYang wanted to fix his friendship with.
YangYang was currently sitting on the hallway floors, waiting for the teachers to finish setting up the testing room. The boy was looking at all directions of the hallways for a certain Australian friend who also had a last name that started with an L.
While looking around, he sees Jeno walk up to him and sit down next to the younger, "Hey, YangYang! I know we've barely talked before but you're like the only person I know here so hi," he greets as well as gives him his iconic eye smile.
"You can still hang out with Jun and Jaemin, testing hasn't started yet for either of them," YangYang informs while still keeping an eye out for Felix.
"Jaemin wanted to get some last minute studying in and Renjun said he was going to take a power nap and didn't need me to distract him from sleeping," Jeno sheepishly says while playing with his fingers, "I'm kind of nervous, aren't you?"
YangYang nods his head, "Who isn't? I really need to do well on this test too because I was told by the counselor that if I didn't do well in the science exam freshman year, I could kiss my medical degree goodbye..."
"Wow, so this is big for you..." YangYang nods again and Jeno salutes him, "Good luck, I'll be rooting for you on the side."
"Thanks Jeno..." the two fall into a semi-comfortable silence until YangYang speaks up again, "Uh...Jeno, have you by any chance seen Felix anywhere?"
To YangYang's disappointment, Jeno shakes his head, "Ever since we were suspended, I haven't kept in touch with Lix, only Eric, Sun, and my boyfriends. Sorry."
YangYang smiles at the older, "No, it's fine." But it wasn't fine. The boy wanted to apologize to the older really badly, but how could he when not even one of his close friends have seen him. He looks at the clock that was slowly ticking the seconds that passed.
