Eric wakes up to a ding from his phone.

The sky was still dark and the sun was set below the horizon. All that could be heard from Eric's room was Sunwoo's soft snores as he was sleeping on the mattress next to the blue haired's bed. The older had been going to Eric's house for the entire week, and the adults taking care of Sunwoo gave up and allowed him to sleep over at the boy's house until they figure out their current overpopulated children situation.

The blue haired reaches to grab his phone and squints his eyes when the screen blinds him for a few seconds. After regaining his vision, he reads the recent notification he received:

From XXX-XXX-XXXX:

> meet me in front of the cute boys alleyway

Eric furrows his eyebrows, "The Cute Boys alleyway? Is this Hyunjoon's way to apologize?" The boy scoffs and turns his phone off. He throws the device onto his bedside table and pulls his covers up to his chin.

The boy wasn't in the mood to talk to Hyunjoon, especially when he's the reason Eric and his friends were in suspension in the first place. He shuts his eyes closed, hoping the small amount of drowsiness was enough to carry him into dreamland once again.

However, he hears another ding go off from his phone, and the boy quietly groans. The notification also seemed to have alerted Sunwoo as the boy slightly stirs in his sleep. Eric quietly apologizes as he turns his phone on, displaying the recently added notification.

From XXX-XXX-XXXX:

> i promise you it'll be worth it...

Eric rolls his eyes, wondering what on earth Hyunjoon could've been talking about. He was debating whether or not to listen to the message as he didn't want to see the older's face. However, a part of his head was screaming at him to leave his house as it could be really important.

The boy shakes his head and gets up from his bed. He needed more time to think about whether he should sneak out of his house or not. He walks out of his room and notices the kitchen light on. The boy furrows his eyebrows and checks the time on his cellphone, "Why is she up at 5 a.m.?"

He creeps down the stairs and turns the corner to look at his mother sitting on the island, scrolling through emails on her laptop, "Mom?" he calls out, and his mother jumps in her seat while turning around.

"Holy crap Eric...please don't scare me like that! You should know that I have a faint heart!"

"I know, I got it from you..." Eric jokes while walking up to her and hugging her from behind, "Why are you up early? Usually you wake up at 6..."
