ALTHOUGH SHE DIDN'T LIKE to admit it, alfie looked forward to her weekly lunch with javon. it was the only time in the week that she could act like a real kid. she liked that, and so did he.
"what are the chances that we're ever going to shoot a scene together?" he asked, looking up from his script to meet his eyes with hers.
she hummed, "good question. i dont know, quite slim i guess." she thought about it for a further second, "we'd be too talented for the screen if we were together, no doubt. they'd have to like- discontinue the show because of how good we are." she had a pert grin on her face.
"you smile a lot." he said, after a moment of silence. he studied her face with a slight grin.
she looked down at her hands, embarrassed. "sorry, i can't help it."
"i never said it was a bad thing. it's...it's cute." he laughed nervously.
she placed a hand on her heart, widening her mouth in sarcastic shock. "did buzz-cut boy just call me cute?" she tilted her head, letting out a small chuckle.
his smile grew, "you're mad."
"mad cute." she grinned.
