THERE WAS NOTHING javon wanted more than to talk to alfie. it had been weeks since they'd had a proper conversation, he didn't think he could stand a moment longer.

he was still confused about how he felt, and he'd spent every night since talking to hunter, lying in bed and trying to figure out what the hell was going on.

there was a part of him that knew what he wanted from alfie. ever since the night they sat in silence, looking over los angeles, a part of him couldn't stop thinking about the way he felt when she lay her head on his shoulder.

there was a part of him that hated how seeing william franklyn miller's text on alfie's phone made him feel. that small but prominent pit of anger and jealousy that resurfaced every time william's name was brought up.

but the rest of him was in utter denial. he refused to believe that he had caught feelings for alfie becket. there was no way on earth that was possible.
