ALFIE WOKE UP TO a faint knock at her door, it was odd at this time of day. 13:07pm. usually she'd be doing an interview at this time, though, today she didn't. she answered the door, weary eyed.
buzz-cut boy was standing in front of her, a nervous kind of look on his face. he opened his mouth, as if to say something, but instead smiled.
she tilted her head, smirking. "you look suspicious."
he let out a faint chuckle. "sorry. i was just wondering, since you've got some free time for once, if you wanted to come with me to get some lunch?" he bit his lip in anticipation, clenching his fists slightly.
she narrowed her eyes. "are you sure you aren't up to something?"
he raised his hands in defence, "i swear, zero suspiciousness."
she beamed, "hmm, alright then." she paused for a moment. "tacos sound okay?" she said, slipping some sliders on. "there's a taco bell down the road." she added.
his smile grew, "i love tacos."
