ALFIE HEARD THE DOOR HANDLE turn,javon walking inside before closing the door behind him. he had a soft smile on his face as he sat down next to alfie.
"what're you smiling at, buzz-cut boy?" she said, noticing the look on his face.
"i know it's not thursday, but i really wanna take you out." he turned to her, waiting for an answer. "not a date. just two friends doing friend things, y'know?"
she laughed at his nervousness, "sure buddy. i'll go out with you." she kept eye contact with him as she rested her head in her hand. "what's the plan?"
"we could go get something to eat, then maybe a walk or something? it's up to you." he replied.
"frozen yogurt?" she smirked.
he smiled, answering her question with only an expression before getting up from his seat. "i'll leave you for a bit if you want to get changed? you look great as you are- but um, um. yeah."
she chuckled, confused as to why he was so nervous. "i'll see you in a sec, let me just fix my hair." and with that, he smiled and left.
