Chapter 45

Kaitlyn's POV

I sat in my room listening to my old music on pandora

Day 2 of being away from hayes was underway and it sucked more and more.

That girl walking up to hayes and watching them walk away stayed in my mind. The way he had his arm around her shoulder made my head hurt

"Mom I need my pills!" I screamed from my bed

I had no answer but knew my mom would bring them soon.

Suddenly a light knock came from my door and nash appeared

"The love doctor is here!" He said shaking my pills and tossing them towards me

"Thanks" I said giving him a small smile

I quickly swallowed them and looked up at nash

He took a seat in my desk chair and fixed his hair

"So I chatted with hayes, well sorta, I yelled at him."

"What why?" I asked confused

"Because he was hanging out with some girl my family doesn't know and even though you two are on a break, I still don't want to see him with someone other than you."

I smiled and threw my hands in the air

"Thanks nash but I don't think that will stop him, he's a guy. They never stop searching for girls. Once they're done with one, they go to the next like that!" I snapped my fingers and sighed

"And that's just it! Light bulb!" Nash pointed to the air above his head

"It's crazy but I think it will work. Kaitlyn you need to find a new man." Nash said leaning towards me

"Nash I can't cause myself stress with a new man" I said pointing out the obvious

"It won't cause you stress! Maybe a new person will help you. Then hayes will realize your really the one he wants."

I sighed and thought to myself

This is really all because my mom said I can't see hayes as much. And now hayes completely moved on. Maybe Nash is crazy but this plan may just work

"Ok fine I'll do it. But for hayes to see me in action, tell him to go to the pizzeria down the street next week. Give me time to find someone to take with me."

Nash nodded in agreement and I lifted my head a little higher

"Time to make hayes jealous" I smirked at Nash

"That a girl" Nash smirked back

Hayes's POV
*1 week later*

"Uh Kaitlyn, I miss you. Can we start talking again?"

"No hayes that sounds stupid" I told myself and smacked my forehead

"Ok go again. Kaitlyn Elizabeth McCoy, will you do me the honor of being my girlfriend again?"

I looked in the mirror and mentally slapped myself

That was way to formal, I just need to be myself when I ask

Suddenly Nash barged into my room and flopped on my bed.

"Yo bro wanna get pizza at three?" He asked sitting up on my bed

"Yea sure, let me get ready"

"Hurry it's almost three!" Nash said slamming my door shut behind him

I quickly threw on a shirt, my khaki shorts, and vans

"Nash I'm ready!" I yelled not knowing where he was in the house
